Had a casual family breakfast last Saturday for a group of 6 , had tasty mini breakfasts all round which had plenty and very good value . Freddie is a welcoming host , Shanagolden itself is a nice tranquil setting and the Old Stand is an hidden gem in West limerick which seems to have really upped its game in recent times - Highly recommend

The fabulous young server was so friendly, helpful, and polite. The food was delicious. The whole place was very clean and very much enjoy our night out there.

Lovely pub and restaurant in Shannagolden. Food was great and cider cold. Try the steak sandwich, the best one I've eaten in Ireland. They have music in the afternoon and evening that attracts people from all the west of county Limerick, if you would like to indulge in the local culture and have a sing a long.

Visiting the area from Dublin for a family birthday and booked a meal in the Old Stand . I couldn’t compliment this restaurant enough ! Fantastic atmosphere helped greatly by the decor and background music , wonderful friendly attentive service and the food was delicious! I had the Sea Bass , highly recommended! Would definitely visit again! Well done to all involved !
