Popped in here today with some friends from work for lunch. Had the Holly Jolly Christmas toastie, which came with a little pot of gravy and was delish. The Americano was also lovely and the staff were very friendly. We were all impressed with the food and service and have vowed to return soon. Would recommend.

I'm not sure what's happening at the olive tree, it's just so drab now ! Fruit pancakes are nice but I prefer the fresh fruit, Croissant was delicious but next time I'll settle for a takeaway! The buzz and cheer that's always been there is gone ! I miss the old Olive tree!

I ate inside, but they have outside seating with blankets. I had a wonderful strong Americano and a spicy buffalo wrap. Thay had lovely looking pastries, but I didn't indulge. Jack, one of the owners, came by to see how I was enjoying my meal. Lovely man. (And, there are clean restrooms). Highly recommend. Lots of local folk were having their coffee as well. A short walk from the castle on the main road.

Very tasty food and polite service. Highly recommended if you’re in Trim. Pancakes were plentiful and I had them with bacon and maple syrup

31/01/2025: Worked in Trim for a week and was in the nearby hotel.. ops manager brought us to this place... Frankly, that's how it's done!!!First of all mind blowing food cooked by heart, every dish! Presented with the highest standard!! Then the cherry on top! I am hungarian and ordered a goulash soup to try! It was fantastic however i mentiones the differences to the traditional goulash. We had 2 days of laugh out of it with the owners and the young cheeky waitress lady! I got the baby Guinness since i was naught and "criticied" the Goulash.... Let's say it is extremely rare when you really make a wonderful night eating out, and these guys delivered brilliantly!!! Have been there twice during the week,and very highly recommend them!! See the pictures for food and don't miss it out from your journey, because they worth it!!! Six Star all over!!! Ps.: The beef featerblade was absolutely stunning!!

01/01/2025: Platter by Lu is amazing! Their charcuterie boards are always fresh, with top-quality meats, cheeses, and sauces. Everything is delicious and beautifully put together. I’m a happy repeat customer and highly recommend them!
