Popped in here today with some friends from work for lunch. Had the Holly Jolly Christmas toastie, which came with a little pot of gravy and was delish. The Americano was also lovely and the staff were very friendly. We were all impressed with the food and service and have vowed to return soon. Would recommend.

I'm not sure what's happening at the olive tree, it's just so drab now ! Fruit pancakes are nice but I prefer the fresh fruit, Croissant was delicious but next time I'll settle for a takeaway! The buzz and cheer that's always been there is gone ! I miss the old Olive tree!

I ate inside, but they have outside seating with blankets. I had a wonderful strong Americano and a spicy buffalo wrap. Thay had lovely looking pastries, but I didn't indulge. Jack, one of the owners, came by to see how I was enjoying my meal. Lovely man. (And, there are clean restrooms). Highly recommend. Lots of local folk were having their coffee as well. A short walk from the castle on the main road.

Very tasty food and polite service. Highly recommended if you’re in Trim. Pancakes were plentiful and I had them with bacon and maple syrup

Platterbylu - Café and Artisan Pantry

08/12/2024: My husband and I visit Platter by Lu daily when we are in Trim visiting family. We’re from New York City and love coffee so we were so happy to find a place that does it so well. I also love their cheese selection! Highly recommend!

Stockhouse

23/12/2024: Food was excellent, steaks cooked perfectly and it was the best cheeesecake I"ve ever eaten. Service was good, staff were attentive but waiting for a table was an uncomfortable experience, as there is no where to sit and wait and people are trying to get past you opening the door out into the cold. A good place to go with larger parties too. Will definitely be returning and happily recommend the Stockhouse to others.
08/12/2024: Really enjoyable evening meal, with beautiful views overlooking the castle, superbly decorated dining room with a fabulous job done on Christmas decorations. Staff where extremely friendly and attentive, and food was top class, will be back!
