Nice and clearly popular local eatery. Staff were attentive and warm. I got the carbonara. I'm a purist when it comes to this dish, so I'm none too keen on it feeling stodgy with cream and lacking in black pepper. But it was competent and satisfying. I'll definitely return to try other menu items.

It was more than expected for a little town on the way but the portions were too small. Pancake was not served like a cafe standard.

'The Pantry' can not be beaten when it comes to fresh food and service. It's always a pleasure to visit here whether for breakfast or a delicious lunch. They are very accommodating whether it comes to solo diners or large groups.

15/10/2024: Great pub, which was the local of Shane MacGowan of The Pogues. Really friendly pub, lovely inside, and well worth a visit.
06/08/2024: We came to this Pub as true Shane fans, and didnt go home disappointed. Great energy, old school pub with frendy staff.🍻
