Pennyhill Pub is a great spot with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and attentive, making you feel at home right away. The place is clean, spacious, and perfect for both a relaxed evening or a lively night out. Food is tasty with generous portions, and the drinks are always fresh and well served. On match days the vibe is fantastic – full of energy, fun, and community spirit. Definitely a place worth coming back to with friends or even on your own.

Food looks amazing and really nice but I didn't try anything that night. It was my first time in The Penny Hill and I thoroughly enjoyed myself with my partner.

Great pub in the middle of Balgaddy! Has everything you might want in a Pub: live music 🎶, great food, pints 🍻 and big outside/garden area! Maybe a little bit expensive for the location (not in Dublin city centre) but it is what it is.

Lovely soup and chicken wrap with Sweet Chili sauce served with some salad. We had really nice Lattes afterwards. It was very reasonable also.

Service is very slow, stood at bar waiting to order a drink , 4 people behind bar and just me at bar and they stood talking for a minute, i had to ask for a drink!!. I ordered food which i had to pay for before we got ,unheard of in a restaurant!!!

Ate here on a Friday night, 2 people around 8pm. Somewhat raucous atmosphere, so loud we struggled to have a conversation. Seemed to be lots of staff (young) walking around aimlessly. I tried to call out to two girls and I was ignored twice. I had to leave my seat to ask a girl for menus. It was the same trying to order. The service is terrible. The menu is somewhat limited and we were also offered specials of the day which were not to our liking. For the mains we opted for the beef feather blade and chicken burger. This arrived reasonably quick and both dishes were exemplary. We also had sticky toffee pudding which was amazing. Prices on par with everywhere else. So all in it did not offer that dining experience where you could converse and enjoy the ambience but the food really delivered!
