Hands down always one of the best pints in Dublin. Excellent food too, always top notch. The staff are always super helpful and pleasant. A great Irish bar.

Excellent local amenity. Friendly staff and lovely food. Busy on sport days but nearly always will get a seat. Outside area great as we bring our 2 dogs

Super place to eat and drink. Service. Excellent Food. Excellent We went for Sunday lunch. Both had turkey dinners. The food was hot. Plenty of tasty vegetables, generous portions of turkey and delicious gravy. Highly recommend this venue. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

16/08/2026: Very well run pub Staff are on point and very friendly. Spotless clean glasses and smiling drinks. Security staff also very nice.
29/07/2026: We went to have lunch and we ordered the roast beef toasties... They are awesome! The parmesan mayo and caramelize onion... it's amaizing! And the croquettes are perfect! I imagine that the chef is a very proffesional worker. I will come back to J.L. O Neill’s !!

25/08/2026: I got the Dubliner burger and it was delicious my partner got a the cajun chicken burger which was also perfect! 10/10 will definitely be back!!
