What an excellent little deli! The staff were lovely too. I heard the lovely gentleman behind the counter say that they never reused meat from the day before and you can absolutely taste the freshness. Will absolutely be back if I’m ever in the neighbourhood again.

One of the nicest sandwiches I’ve ever had. With a name like Pig and Heifer, I wasn’t sure about what the vegetarian options would be, I got Gorgonzola and Veg on toasted Sour Dough. The produce is at the highest end you can get, just 10/10. Also, seemed to be independently owned with regular customers, good atmosphere.

Absolute lovely place. The owner is simply a beautiful soul that puts his heart into every dish he makes and that‘s something you can truly taste with every bite. Definitely one of the highlights of our Dublin Trip, if we should ever be back in Dublin we will come again!!!

I like these sandwiches but this branch is the worst! It is dirty, there are flies around the food, in general the environment looks ugly and messy! Besides, they speak very badly of Mr. Patrick who treats his employees badly and that's why they don't last.

Pat was a lovely gent! We went in as English couple getting some breakfast, he recommend the breakfast sandwich with relish which was delicious and I had the chicken melt which was lush. He was super accommodating, talkative and had some good banter😂defo recommend whether you’re from Dublin or just a tourist!!! 10/10!

Honestly legendary. Went for breakfast and got the regular and N.Y. breakfast rolls with the wife. They were life alteringly good. We sadly didn't have time to return the second and third times we wish we could have gone. Chatted it up with who I assume was the owner and had a good talk. They were offering a discount if you legitimately read 10 pages of a book from their shelf, too. I naturally grabbed a cheese book to look at the pictures, and had a good bit of banter about the finer parts of cheese. Course, looking at pictures doesn't count as reading 😂

June 2025. If there is one deli shop you go to in Dublin, make sure it's here. Patrick the owner was a blast to jaw with - one of Dublin's originals and the most well-read deli owner I have ever come across (check out his "library" above the tables - Christopher Hitchens, F Scott Fitzgerald, Adam Smith, Thomas Sowell). And the best pastrami I've had this side of the ocean - Patrick could hold his own in the lower east side Manhattan. And you can't beat the price - sandwich, crisps and cold salad for less than 10 euro. A short walk from the EPIC, CHQ mall and train station. Worth the effort to go out of your way!

Fable Bakery

05/08/2025: I got the chocolate hazelnut bun and it was delicious. There isn't much space to sit in but well worth a visit.
30/07/2025: Fable Bakery in Dublin is a pleasant little spot, though not exactly a hidden gem. Their baked goods are decent—fresh and enjoyable, but not particularly memorable. The coffee was fine, not standout. The staff were kind and the setting cozy, though service could be a bit quicker. It’s worth dropping by if you're nearby, but maybe not worth a long detour. All in all, a good experience, just not one that’ll knock your socks off.

Irish Whiskey Museum

17/08/2025: Great presentation. We enjoyed it.
17/08/2025: I was a bit disappointed. They just talked a lot about whisky and offered me three whiskies to sample.
