DJ’d here for a 21st birthday recently. The upstairs function room is good and spacious. Load in with equipment was ok. Plenty of parking outside. I would recommend this venue for any event. If you need a DJ for this venue contact me through Instagram @ DJStephenPaterson

Try the curry 🍛 😋 The pines a special gastro pub to visit friendly staff, great bar,then sit back and relax 😌 enjoy the atmosphere. And desert of course.

Tuvimos la cena de ayer con mi amiga la comida era deliciosa y el personal era muy amable y servicial creo que su nombre era mia / mya ella super agradable y educado! Lo recomendaría y volvería de nuevo!

05/06/2025: Stunning food expertly presented. I have been keen to go here for a while and it did not disappoint. From the get go when they show the ingredients, to the variety of the set menu, the flavours and the presentation. Top notch. It was very quiet at lunch on a Thursday so not much atmosphere but it didn’t take away from the place. Good value for lunch too. Highly recommended.
03/01/2025: Deadly spot for a cocktail and some snacks. The kimchi, pork, lettuce snack was a game changer 11/24: revisited and got the burger, steak and a starter of tuna tostada. Meal was great but not sure the seating or lighting is really catering for eaters. Enjoyed it all the same

Palmerstown House

13/07/2025: Had an excellent meal there today, Looked after by Nicola and her team , served up to 40 of us , lovely food great staff if we needed more they were only to happy to help in any way, worth the money, and we will be booking again shortly caint wait thank you Palmerston house pub John brady.
05/07/2025: Food was nice enough and the staff were lovely, but parts of the place need a facelift, especially the spot we were sat in. Overall it was decent, i've been to worse
