Best whiskey experience hands down, crazy gar was a lovely host. If you are interested in nice irish wiskey and a dark and cozy atmosphere this is the right place.

I had lunch here with my girlfriend. This bar is fantastic. Old world vibes with the antique furniture. The pints were well crafted and more importantly reasonably priced and overall it was a very pleasant afternoon.

We were in Dublin for a few weeks in early January. This was the pub my friends and I came to nearly every night. Nice atmosphere, but what truly set this place apart was the service. Bartenders Garrett and Ryan took care of us every night and they couldn’t have been more welcoming and personable.

My favorite bar in Dublin. Gar was the man! Made us feel at home. Felt like we knew him for years. It was like we came home after being away for decades. Thank you for the best bar experience i have had yet. See you down the road Gar - Tony PS The steak pie was the best i ever had

25/04/2026: Great food and staff! We ate here 10 years ago on our first trip to Dublin and we were so pleased to see it doing great. We were hesitant to return due to bad reviews we found on line- but those reviews had no reflection on the place. The pub was clean, had plenty of friendly and attentive servers. The Pints were cold, the food was delicious and the service was great. The pub was backed and the workers were spot on. A full house of happy people! The curry was delish, and the burger was worth it!
19/04/2026: Great local bar, with good staff, good choice of beer and the option of a good choice of food.

21/03/2025: Esta es la segunda vez que he estado en Locks... Siempre iré aquí cuando esté en Dublín. La ubicación en lo que parece ser una zona residencial tranquila cerca de un arroyo o pequeño río es agradable. El restaurante está en un espacio genial y acogedor. El menú no es enorme, pero la comida es deliciosa.
