Fantastic pub in the heart of Temple Bar. A quintessential Irish atmosphere, an excellent selection of craft beers, and very friendly staff. The food is also truly delicious: generous, well-prepared, and high-quality dishes. A welcoming and lively place, perfect for a lovely evening in Dublin. Highly recommended for both a good pint and a delicious meal.

It was quiet and we were looking for a nice table with a view upstairs but told it was for eating only. I understand this rule when it is busy. One lady was really nice, another barman was more interested in chatting to his colleague than serving. Decent Guinness.

I have both my very first and my very last beer in Ireland there. Selection was fantastic!
The atmosphere is electric, the multi-level layout is stunning, and the live music was absolutely incredible. Great beer, amazing crowd, brilliant tunes. What more could you ask for? 10/10!

The Porterhouse is one of the most highly recommended pubs in the Temple Bar area. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff.
Unfortunately, like all pubs, it's very expensive, but that's to be expected. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, you can head further upstairs.
