The Porterhouse in Dublin

Went in for a quick pre gig burger, and it was very good, had one of their own IPA's and it was tasty too.

Probably my favorite pub in the temple bar area!

A great place to enjoy good beers and the atmosphere. The staff is very friendly.

We went just for a drink. The staff was very friendly. We didn't try the food, but it looked amazing. We were only going for a beer, but we ended up trying the tasting menu. The standout was the delicious Stout. You can't leave without trying it, as it's considered the best and it truly is delicious.

Absolutely lovely place. We are currently sat down eating (our second visit in as many days) and I am so impressed with this place the Staff alone are brilliant. Atmosphere brilliant. We were unsure with us visiting with young children (3 and 7) but staff moved tables and made us feel very very welcome. Children’s menu was brought out to us without us asking. Food is delicious, fast and very tasty. Highly recommend.

Spectacular views and very good food with a great atmosphere

Perfect... Prices are high for Spaniards but the food is tasty.

Everything was excellent. The awards reflected the quality. The service was fast. And the decor was spectacular.

2026. Still fab. Pubs in Temple Bar all great with bland and overpriced beer. This bucks the trend. The beer range is rich, varied and at a better price. Strong 4 star pushed into 5 star due to great live music scene, leaning towards Belgium beer and well above average draught beer. Architecturally this pub is a thing to behold...lots of split levels!

We dined at this pub during our stay in Dublin, drawn primarily by the fame of its stew. Unfortunately, our expectations were dashed: the dish turned out to be rather mediocre compared to what was described. The value for money isn't the best either, with the prices quite high for what's on offer. Furthermore, the service was only decent and not particularly attentive. There are definitely better options in Dublin: our advice is to not let food bloggers' reviews influence you too much.
