Simple, modern pub with a good selection of beers, their Oyster Stout and Plain Porter being truly exceptional. Service was friendly but hasty; once we'd finished our pint, they didn't wait a second longer to bring us the check, even though it was definitely empty. The spicy chicken was very good.

Really grateful this bar was open late on a Sunday. We had a concert at the Olympia and everything closed before we got out. Great selection of beer. The House lager was delicious. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the proximity to the Templebar pubs that trap tourists down the road.

First pub I visited in Dublin: all the beers I tried were excellent! There was also an incredible amount to choose from. I also tried the gourmet bangers & mash: artisanal sausages with mash potatoes and gravy: delicious. The place is simple but welcoming. The service is friendly. The price is fair.

06/05/2026: Our hotel concierge got us a reservation at this restaurant. The food was excellent. Highly recommended. We had the Dingle Bay Crab as a starter which was fantastic, the Pigs on the Green pork tenderloin which was very juicy and delicious and wrapped up with the bread pudding for desert.
06/05/2026: First meal in Dublin at The Winding Stair absolutely hit the spot after a long night of traveling. The whipped goat cheese salad was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, while the spicy tomato soup was pure comfort in a bowl. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and an ideal start to our Ireland adventure

Gino's

12/04/2026: I’ve spent a fortune on Gino’s gelatos, but I’ve had a disappointing experience at this particular branch. The portion sizes are incredibly small, especially considering the price of 6.1 euros for a pistachio scoop. The cone is almost empty, and the ice cream is barely visible. I’ll definitely avoid this branch in the future. The taste is decent, but the poor portion sizes make it a bad deal. I’ll give it 3 stars.
