The Quays in Athlone

Really excellent hotel, right on the waterfront. Great facilities, with plenty of space throughout the hotel. Lovely views towards the ss Peter and Paul Church.

We had lunch in the Marina Club. Love the ambiance.

We have used the Radisson Blu Athlone 3 times in the space of 5 months and we will be back again. The rooms we got the first 2 visits were luxurious spacious and so well kept. The third stay we had recently, the room was extremely small but we didn't mind as it was new years eve. This is the best spot to go to for a good night out. The pubs in the local area are unbelievable and literally only a stone throw away from the front door of the hotel. We visited over 8 or 9 different pubs in the space of time we've visited and not once did we need a taxi. Staff in the Radisson are excellent and so welcoming, there was free parking and the facilities are just perfect. Can't wait to use the Radisson Blu Athlone again. 💙

Great views of the river and great food

A little disappointed, booked a river view room and you have to look around out the window to see it , as when you look directly out the window you just see the opposite side of the hotel . Also with a baby we seem to be above the bar which is proving difficult trying to put a baby to sleep with music in the bar. So I don’t think they think about these things when people are reserving rooms. Was served a glass in the bar with a long crack in it. The room is average , the bathroom is very dated . The bath surround is perished . It really doesn’t show itself as a 4 star.

Family trip for 4, got a huge bedroom in the 5th floor. Room was warm and spacious. Kids loved it. They swam in the morning and had a brilliant time. The location is very good. Parking provided.

We visited the leisure centre and pool. Absolutely spotless and the staff were brilliant. Ate in the bar later, food was great and atmosphere was just spot on. Thank you to all
