Decent hotel, recovering after minor damage in recent storm. Service a very mixed bag. Pleasant but slow and a bit disorganised. Check in took an age.

We stayed in a Junior suite which was lovely. Beautiful view of the river comfy bed. Disappointed with the buffet breakfast would have preferred the hot breakfast cooked freshly.

Stayed here as part of a stag weekend and was really impressed. Rooms were clean and had all the usual amenities like kettles/iron/ironing-board etc.
Staff couldn't have been nicer. We were there a few hours before check-in and they let us store the bags. Food in the marina club was nice too.
Location is great and it's near all the major bars and restaurants both sides of the Shannon. It's only a 10 minute walk from the train station. Seemed to be plenty of parking available too.
Would definitely stay here again.

Love the ambiance.
I recently stayed in a family suite, and my experience was quite disappointing.
First, the in-room TV is extremely limited and outdated—it doesn't even support YouTube or Netflix, which is a basic expectation these days.
Secondly, the family suite didn’t even have a fridge, which was incredibly inconvenient.
On top of that, I returned to my room at 4 PM to find it hadn’t been cleaned. I had to call reception twice before housekeeping finally arrived—over 30 minutes later. When I asked why my room wasn’t cleaned, the housekeeper simply said, "They forgot." That’s completely unacceptable.

Apart from the difficulty in finding parking, every part of the stay at Radisson Blu was great. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the food was really good and the service was friendly and professional. I will definitely be staying here again.

Really excellent hotel, right on the waterfront. Great facilities, with plenty of space throughout the hotel. Lovely views towards the ss Peter and Paul Church.
