The Quiet Moment Tearooms in Letterkenny

Had a small breakfast here this morning, Saturday 6th December. Service was quick and efficient. Reasonable value for money. Only criticism, the slice of bacon was cooked until it was hard, not crispy, just hard. Not sure it was cooked fresh to order. Otherwise all OK and yes I would go back. Cost including pot tea, €10.

Wasn't overly keen on the full breakfast. Small puddings, small hash browns and would be worried about how quickly it arrived out. Usually when you order a fresh cooked breakfast, you'd expect to wait for it to be cooked, but the lukewarm curled up bacon and lukewarm sausages would suggest it's pre-cooked and held in a bain marie or something similar. Could be wrong on that, but they weren't great. Was a little disappointed with it considering it's healthily priced at €12.95. Left half a cup of coffee behind too. It was very very poor quality. A can of Coke for €3.50 was utterly outrageous too. Service was largely fine and staff were friendly but wouldn't really be rushing back again for food.

Food and coffee were both delicious. I would highly recommend the House Panini and the triple BLT.

The quality of the food was really good, the staff where quick and friendly, the atmosphere was really relaxed and the bathroom was spotless. Definitely worth a visit ☺️
