I only ordered the acaí bowl, so my review is based on that. The cafe looks lovely and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the acai to toppings ratio was disappointing. There was very little açaí in the bowl when I would expect it to be the main ingredient( about 70%). If you re going to offer ii. I would suggest it should be served with a better balance.

Had a lovely lunch at A Quiet Moment Coffee Shop in Letterkenny today. Such a pleasant experience from start to finish; the atmosphere was warm and relaxing, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

A charming restaurant to have a meeting with friends and family. Or just sitting and having a cup of tea/ coffee with a tasty bite to eat. It's cosy atmosphere will draw you in to relax.

Lovely breakfast, shame about the awful loud music , I did request they lower it once and they did to be fair but it definitely puts me off returning. I have popped my head in door occasionally and quickly exited, its just too loud. The irony

Dillons Hotel

15/05/2026: The hotel and staff were amazing! Great bar/restaurant and breakfast area. Just a short walk to St Eunan’s Cathedral. And get some seafood chowder at The Brewery Bar on the way back to Dillon’s. I loved my experience in Letterkenny.
07/05/2026: Just back from a two night stay in Dillon's, it's a lovely hotel and right smack in the middle of Letterkenny and the bars and restaurants. We ate in Dillon's last night and the food was delicious as was breakfast this morning. But Dillon's best asset is their staff, they are a friendly, helpful bunch and deserve praise. Their attitude made our visit even better. Thankyou 🤗

McGinleys Bar

31/05/2026: Loved it in here. A really nice friendly vibe going on at lunchtime on a Friday. The young woman behind the bar was so welcoming. I thought so, and when my wife came back from the bar herself she said unprompted “she’s a lovely woman behind the bar”. Went in for one and stayed most of the afternoon.
