From the outside, this place may seem unassuming, but as soon as you step inside, you'll be overwhelmed. The interior is simply stunning and immediately invites you to linger. The pints are poured to perfection and a true delight. And although the outdoor area is rather simple, it exudes a great vibe that simply invites you to relax. A top location that I would visit again anytime!

The Rag Trader has such a great atmosphere, and I have to give a special mention to Gareth and Ryan. They were both incredibly helpful, full of good humour, and really made the visit enjoyable. I had lost my AirPods a few days back, and they had kept them safe for me – which I really appreciated! Both were so polite and professional throughout. Excellent service all around!

Wonderful Irish pub. We visited in August 2025. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is delicious, both the burgers and the fish and chips. Another positive note is the service, which made up for an oversight by offering us beers. A gracious way of admitting a mistake, which is truly appreciated. I would return and highly recommend it.

We came for a drink and stayed for dinner! The barmen are pure gold and the food is delicious, way better than you'd expect from the 'outside looks'. It was really really good, freshly cooked and so unique. We'd recommend the Buttermilk Cajun Chicken Burger! Absolutely loved this place!

Let me tell you, no rags are traded here, just my hard earned cash for PINTS!!!!!!! I love drinking pints and I drink so much sometimes I don’t even know what I’m doing anymore. I went to the rag trader last night and I haven’t a clue what happened. I can’t remember anything AT ALL!!!! I must of drank about 17 pints. For my age that’s a lot of pints. But I don’t regret a single second I had the time of my life in the rag trader. There was a man there named DONAL and he was the BEST!!!!!! We got a slice of pizza after and he bloody slipped and fell and got covered in MUDDY WATER!!!!!!!!!!!
