The Railway Cottage in Ballinroad

Nice stop for lunch if you're cycling the Greenway or heading for a swim to Clonea beach. They have a great selection of wraps, sandwiches and paninis.

I am disappointed that they only serve dinner until 4p.m. Especially since the days are warm, lots of people come to the seaside, weekend. They should extend this time to at least 6p.m. I am disappointed because I came there specifically for fish & chips, the best I have eaten in Ireland so far.

Delicious food and coffee, a wide range of food and sweet treat options.

We stopped in here for lunch. You're definitely paying tourist prices as it was €10 for a cheese and ham toastie. The toastie was great though as I believe they use their own ham and it's quite a thick slice you get. It was extremely busy when we were there but we still managed to get seated no problem. The staff are really nice and the food came out very quickly considering how busy it was. Despite the price being on the high side I'd definitely go here again.

Really lovely little stop along the greenway we only had coffee and a dessert which was fab they all looked homemade but any food we seen coming out looked really really good

After cycling the greenway it is a resting station, which was thought good. I ordered americano and scones were the standard. We had a seat, a cold air was coming from somewhere, I really don’t understand why coffee places cannot keep the inside cozy, and ruin the short pleasant time with the coldness. They have a car park area, outside seats, and a bike park.

Best coffee in Co Waterford. If you’re a coffee lover like me & want the perfect cup to set you up - come here! The staff are so friendly, even when they’re run off their feet, which is a lot!! Special mention to Aine, Eoin (great barista) & Chloe for today’s service, all done with a bit of craic and fun! Love this hidden gem on the greenway.
