The Reindeer Restaurant & Inn in Newmarket

Nice food but abit expensive and they have service charge.

Wing Yip is a well known and popular supermarket - it's obviously driving by when you see the Chinese traditional-esque roof. And the main restaurant is conspicuous as well. But what most people walk past is Reindeer Cafe. Or if they do go in there it's for the bakery. I think it's like being in a HK restaurant with the same fast service, atmosphere and colours on the interior. The food is pretty good and huge portions. The fruit juices are great. And my favourite dish is the XO noodles. Not fancy but incredibly delicious.

The flavors are genuine, the dishes are well prepared, and everything tastes just like real Chinese food. Highly recommended if you're looking for an authentic dining experience!

Been coming for years, the food, pastries and bread have always been good. Portions are good size and great value for money.

Best Chinese restaurant in London...of course the ambiente is unique. But the food is outstanding good...typical Chinese food. Friendly staff. Highly recommended. Edit: Two days later we went there again...everything was fanatastic again. Highly recommended x 2!

Large portions, quick and friendly service but the taste wise was okay. Sitting with strangers on the same table but different bills was my first experience.

Good food, great portions. Recommend the crispy noodles with beef in black bean sauce. Queue is too long with no updates on wait time. Be prepared to queue up no matter the time of day!

I go here once a week regularly. Good food, staff are kind and the food potion is generous. However, if we go around 7pm, they always start to clean and mopping. While we are eating, they mopping and the bleach smells disgusting and feel like eating bleach. They shouldn't do deep cleaning when customers are still eating. It is not very hygienic nor healthy. If they close at 7:30 sharp with deep cleaning, they should not get the customers till that time. Hope they can improve this then they deserve 5 starts.

This place is great. Been coming here for years and there's a reason. The food is delicious. Small touches matter too, like the ginger scallion sauce which is not available everywhere.  Or soup with some noodles which used to be standard but many places have done away with. Its not fancy, but the portions are very decent and the food is honest. Hope they never change. Cannot ask for more. Bonus, you can get your cakes and buns here too. If I could come every week I'd be a happy bunny.
