The Reindeer Restaurant & Inn in Newmarket

I go here once a week regularly. Good food, staff are kind and the food potion is generous. However, if we go around 7pm, they always start to clean and mopping. While we are eating, they mopping and the bleach smells disgusting and feel like eating bleach. They shouldn't do deep cleaning when customers are still eating. It is not very hygienic nor healthy. If they close at 7:30 sharp with deep cleaning, they should not get the customers till that time. Hope they can improve this then they deserve 5 starts.

Fantastic service. They go over and beyond. They're quick service, very friendly and honestly great food. Has variety! And original dishes and quality. Very busy, always full. May have to wait shortly but like I said quick service and very polite staff.

This place is great. Been coming here for years and there's a reason. The food is delicious. Small touches matter too, like the ginger scallion sauce which is not available everywhere.  Or soup with some noodles which used to be standard but many places have done away with. Its not fancy, but the portions are very decent and the food is honest. Hope they never change. Cannot ask for more. Bonus, you can get your cakes and buns here too. If I could come every week I'd be a happy bunny.

Sited within the Wing Yip supermarket complex, this cafe is a good choice if you don't want to go all out and eat in the restaurant. The range of fayre is wide and varied. The service is very good and the standard of food is high. Clean, tidy and friendly.

Good food but have extremely nasty staff like a female manager & the cashier. They have no people skills & how to treat customers & don't deserve to be employed in an establishment where there are a variety of customers who these nasty staff think that they can shout at & misbehave with! However with washbasins that are overflowing with water 💧! 2.2.25 Tasty food of mixed meat 🍖, scrambled eggs 🥚 & Udon Noodles 🍜 served by friendly staff & owner manager. 23.4.25 Tasty mixed meat ( which could have been softer!) with scrambled eggs & ho-fun noodles served by friendly & accomodating staff in a clean environment. However, some crooked customers seem to order a lot of food which they can't possibly finish & then want to leave without paying! 22.9.25 Tasty food & soups served by friendly staff who however seem to get the orders mixed up! 6.11.25 Tasty mixed meat & hofun noodles which could have been spicier served by friendly staff in a clean environment . 5.2.26 Tasty Laksa noodle soup , Sweet & Sour Pork with Fried Rice & Diet Coke with ice & lemon served by friendly staff in a clean environment. Beware of the charge for takeaway containers & the unpleasant cashier whose attitude will never change & because of whom you don't want to give a tip! 28.3.26 Tasty Mixed meat with ho-fun noodles & scrambled eggs served by friendly staff in a clean environment.

Lovely choice of freshly baked Cantonese goods and wide variety of cooked dishes and drinks including bubble tea. Enjoyed bbq pork pastry, egg tart, red bean pastry and coconut milk red bean bubble tea. All very tasty and decent value!

I thought I ordered the wrong meatball congee, not the congee with a base! The small bowl contained 6 pork meatballs, 2 slices of pork liver, 3 pieces of chicken, and the congee base... I personally didn't like it!

The place was clean, the staff were polite, and some customers kept their speakers on 😮‍💨

You can speak both English and Cantonese. Staff is really really nice, thet are very welcome kinds. Foods are very very delicious.
