Delicious pastries, shame about pub vibes

Went at 12pm on a Sunday and unfortunately there wasn’t many pastries left which is understandable but is a general gripe I have with cafes in Dublin! The almond croissant was really good - not a lot of almond filling which I personally like but know others prefer a lot more. The coffee took a while to come out (10+ minutes) so we had finished our pastries before they came to the table. The coffee was a stronger but quite cohesive taste which I enjoyed. The space is repurposed and gets points for lots of seating which is missing from a lot of Dublin bakeries/coffeeshops. Would love to come back and try other pastries!

Nice coffee and buns. The buns are expensive but huge (almost too big), so probably work out as decent value. Nice cinnamon swirl was tasty, the cardamom twist didn't taste of cardamom and the chocolate twists are always a treat.

Lovely bakery with quality produce. The only issue is that if you do not get there before 10:30am, nearly all their pastries are gone and you end up with a very small variety to chose from, which is very unfortunate.

Cafe with a bit of space.. I hear the pastries and cakes are delicious but all sold out when I was there. Bought sourdough bread to go and it really was one of the best I've had. Good coffee too.

Both the savory and sweet pastries were absolutely gorgeous. The coffee was also delicious. Service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was lovely but not too loud. We sampled pretty much everything and the only thing that let this place down was the cinnamon roll which was cold and very dense. We left most of it. Definitely try this place - we drove 45 minutes to get there and don't regret it - just don't get the cinnamon roll.
