The Seafood Cafe by Niall Sabongi in Dublin

I went on a Friday but unfortunately the menu was more limited than what the menu online lead me to believe. Nonetheless the Turbot was amazing and everything was well seasoned.

Very fresh fish, great dishes and superb taste, you can watch the chefs cooking while sitting at the bar, very friendly staff.

arrived and was sat at the bar. The majority of the staff were super friendly, and the service was excellent, but the open kitchen, which I was directly facing from my seat at the bar, meant that I was witness to the head chef essentially berating a number of staff members, being especially aggressive to his sous chef. at a couple of points, he slammed dishes on the counter quite aggressively. the restaurant was super busy because it was a friday night, but the way he spoke to the other staff was horrible, aggressive, unkind, and made the atmosphere, which had the capacity to be very nice, quite tense.

I had a great lunch here. Oysters to start, followed by calamari and a nice glass of Gruner. Well worth the visit.
