This was an amazing experience. For only the second time having oysters I have to say I’m really enjoying them more and more. This restaurant has very fresh oysters and many ways prepared. I definitely enjoyed them. Also the normal fish was very fresh tasting. Absolutely one of the greatest places to eat.

By far, this was our best dining experience during our time in Dublin. I had the best chowder of my life and the main dishes exceeded expectations. Most notably, my husband ordered the sole, and it was the best seafood we both had ever eaten.
We were also able to sit at the bar and see our meals being prepared. It was a wonderful dinner experience, and next time we’re in Dublin, we’ll be visiting again. Thank you!

As someone who normally avoids seafood and fish, this place completely changed my perspective. It was actually the first time I’ve genuinely enjoyed seafood. The oysters w garlic butter were incredible, the pasta was full of flavour, and even the focaccia stood out. I was a little hesitant at first since I rarely eat seafood and had that irrational fear of getting food poisoning, but everything tasted fresh and I had no issues at all. It is on the expensive side, although I’m not sure if that’s typical for quality seafood. Either way, the experience was worth it, and I’d definitely come back.

Had lunch at The Seafood Café by Niall Sabongi in Dublin.
We ordered the fresh oysters, prawns, cod fish and chips, and grilled seabream. The seafood was fresh, and the grilled seabream and cod fish and chips were really good. The oysters and prawns were enjoyable too.
The only downside was the waiting time. We waited almost one hour for the food to arrive, which felt quite long, especially during lunch. It was really a “see food” experience because we kept waiting to see the food come out!
Overall, the food was good and the seafood quality was there, but the service speed could be improved. Still a nice place for seafood lovers in Dublin

We had a table outside on the small terrace; the oysters were superb; the pasta and everything else was good to very good.

Such a wonderful seafood restaurant in the heart of Temp’e bar district. We tasted all 6 starters as a meal and all were awesome, from crude scallops to marinated clams and fish chowder. Served with a very good dry vouvray wine. All this in a kind of chefs and waiters dance. Excellent and a clear recommendation !!!
