Wow, the Silver Salmon Grill ,what a great 👍 find!!!!! I just randomly chose the SSG , primarily because of the convenient location, close to where I parked my car. Wow, ....totally lucky find on my part! The atmosphere is old-school Astoria with walls loaded with local artwork. Eye candy!!! Clark, our server was attentive and not in the least bit hovering. The food was terrific!!! The rich clam chowder with cheese bread was delicious, with copious amounts of diced clams swirled around in a thick cream base. This clam chowder doubled as dessert for me !!!! The smoked salmon sliders are also excellent. 3 sliders served on toasted buns . Desserts looked delicious, but after the RICH clam chowder , my dessert slot had already been satisfied. 😀 Prices were somewhat expensive but reasonable for the quality of food. Final take... highly recommended

Fish and chips awesome. Had issue with lobster but it was recognized and replaced with an even bigger lobster. So good.

We reserved a front table for a private birthday but when we arrived host was clueless to request or event. The other front booth not offered either nThis was always honored before. We were placed in a back booth w a good server but salad/ vegetables mediocre, steak good but not fantastic, cocktails so so, bread okay. Desert good. This was one of our favorite spots but seems under different chef or management. We will not return soon

Amazing food and service! I had the filet mignon and it was absolute perfection! The other 2 entrees were delicious as well. We will definitely be back...soon!!

Truly enjoyed our dinner here. The restaurant is housed in a historic building downtown with an elegant atmosphere. The service was polished and professional. Interesting and often whimsical art are located throughout. Best of all the food. Our crabcake appetizers were delicious. Not huge but filled with crabmeat (not filler) and fried to perfection. Highly recommend the fish and chips here, with delicious garlic fries. The fish (halibut) had a light, crispy batter with no hint of grease. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food, atmosphere, and service.

The bartender was amazing! He was so kind and very personable. Awesome job, Joey!
