Great atmosphere, great drinks selection and live music.

The best pub we found on our one day walking around Athlone. Five star barman, both with the recommendations and the drinks, and the service of course. Lovely decor and cosy atmosphere. Looks like they got good offers for food as well, like a pint and a pizza. What could go wrong?! If I’m ever back in Athlone, I’ll be back to try it out!

Great atmosphere with live music on Saturday evening. It has everything you'd expect from an Irish pub. Simply fantastic. A must-see!

I honestly couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate my 24th birthday than The Snug in Athlone 🎉✨ From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was warm, stylish, and intimate but still lively enough to feel like a proper celebration. Pat and Michal were incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel special all night. Nothing was too much trouble. Wouldn’t recommend anything other than the snug!!!
