The Storyteller in Dublin

We stopped by for a meal on Sunday evening and the atmosphere was relaxed. We received a very warm welcome. We ordered bacon and cabbage, which was excellent and a generous portion.

I was dealing with Sarah when booking for a laser lunch after the registry office. They easily accommodated 27 of us with food a drinks and reserving an area for us all. The barns even let us behind the bar to pull our own points. They were so friendly and couldn’t enough for us. Would definitely recommend stopping in after the registry office wedding. Plus, there are black beer mats that you can write your ow story on and stick to the ceiling. We spent ages reading everyone’s stories whilst we waited on our food.

I have wanted to come here for quite some time - I constantly heard it being referred as one of the best pubs in Dublin and now I get why! We were searching for a Wednesday quiz and it was happening here - and I can’t recommend it enough . Questions were fun, atmosphere friendly and organization was great! I do recommend booking though !the stuff are very nice and accommodating! Also we tried the food - which is one of the best pubs foods I had in Dublin by far. The salad was fresh and hummus with pita was very very tasty! We will definitely be back!

Was here for drinks after gig in the Aviva and World cup football on the tv! Staff there where excellent. Really quick service on a very busy night. We left a phone behind and the staff on duty did there best to secure it for us so we could arrange a collection. They did whatever they could to help us out. So thank you.

During our week in Dublin, The Story Teller Pub quickly became our favourite spot in the city. We ended up visiting three times – for lunch on our first day, for a drink before a concert, and one last round just before heading to the airport – and each visit was a jolly good time. The atmosphere is cozy and lively at the same time, with great music, a warm buzz of conversations and that classic pub charm that makes you want to stay for “just one more”. The staff really make this place special: friendly, attentive, and always up for a chat or a recommendation, without ever feeling pushy. Service was consistently fast, even when the pub was busy, and we always felt genuinely welcome as visitors. The drinks were spot on every time – from perfectly poured Guinness to long drinks – and our lunch there was tasty and reasonably priced. What we appreciated most was the consistency: no matter what time of day we dropped in, The Story Teller Pub delivered the same relaxed, welcoming vibe and high standard of service. If you are in Dublin and looking for an authentic pub where you’ll be treated like a regular from the first visit, we can absolutely recommend The Story Teller Pub. We would return any time and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Visited from the states. This pub was very close to my hotel and once I looked it up I knew I had to check it out. Amazing atmosphere, great food and wonderful staff
