The Strand Hotel Bray in Bray

Wonderful hotel! Very cozy room with a view at the beachfront. Extremely friendly and helpful staff! There are two restaurants directly at the hotel, which are absolute to recommend for breakfast and dinner (and a pint of Guinness or two ...). The hotel does not have free parking, so you have to park in the street. We did not have any problem to find a space directly in front of the hotel each evening after we returned from our daily trips. For this prime location, directly at the beach,the parking is not very expensive (1€ per hour from 8:30 to 18:30, with a limit of 10 hours total) - but bring coins, since card payment is hit or miss. All in all a splendid stay - highly recommended!

Spent our last night here before heading off to Rome and the staff was so nice. We had a twin room on the top/third floor, there is no elevator so keep that in mind. The staff brought up our luggage to our room but we left early in the morning and had to bring them down ourselves. The room was clean and comfortable.

Our party of 12 ladies stayed here on Saturday 14/12/2024 for our Christmas party from the time we walked into the hotel we were all made very welcome absolutely the staff couldn’t do enough for us from carrying our luggage to our rooms bar staff waiting staff reception staff all so helpful rooms were excellent standard and food amazing even to breakfast they even let us have upstairs room after bar was closed so we could enjoy the rest of the night thank you to all the staff and we will definitely be back only thing we had to complain about was the stairs especially as we were all quite merry 😂 but keep up the good work and happy Christmas 🎄 to all the staff thank you Elizabeth mckenna

Lovely and cosy hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and food was delicious. Room was small but very comfortable. Just 5 stars all round

Small old hotel, tidy and clean. Perfect Position on the beach. Wild's bar has every drink that you can dream of. Over 112 different whisky, vodka as well, scotch .. think over 40 different tips, cognac.. He has a few TV screams if you like to watch some game... only a coffee I really didn't like 😕.

Absolutely brilliant best we've been in. Staff are brilliant. Highly recommend
