Great in so many ways but (like so many Irish hotels) the cost per night is not good value (just short of 300 euro for two people for night 😲).

What a wonderful and quaint stay we had at the Stand Hotel! Very friendly and polite establishment. Great service from beginning to the end of our stay. Food was delicious with 2 restaurants to choose from right inside the hotel.

This place is old school in such a lovely way. One of my favourite hotels not only in Limerick but Nationwide. 10/10 each and every time

Amazing customer service on Monday, May 12, 2025, at check-in around 4:45 p.m. Amazing views and location. I was presented with a situation on my bill, and they tried everything to help fix it. Now I know it’s the hotel chain that charges and ripped everything to fix it. I also had a small issue the night of our stay and needed ice, and they were so kind.

Great location, on the Bray seafront a few steps from the sea and the city center. Very friendly and professional staff. The perfect room always clean and tastefully furnished, equipped with a kettle for water, various herbal teas and milk coffee. Every day they changed the towels and tidied the room. The restaurant on the ground floor is very nice in Irish pub style, here too the staff is very welcoming and professional. The menu is truly delicious. Recommended.

Pros: The staff were incredibly responsive, very friendly, and ultimately very accommodating. The building is really cool, and the rooms are all named and themed after Oscar Wilde literature. I was amazed! The structure is at the end of the strand in Bray, so a lot of the traffic is cut down. The room was well ventilated, and it was clear that a lot of renovations had gone on. There was a converter outlet in the bathroom, for example, for 230/110 implements. Cons: The toilet didn't flush solid waste. When we notified the staff, they relayed that they knew about the issue prior to our arrival. It was not addressed before we checked out, and we had to use the "public" hall bathroom. Also, be careful with the booking. Ours stated a 0800 check-in time, but check-in is not available until 1500-1600 local. The staff was very gracious and let us leave our bags while we set out for the day.

went twice this month, i’ve been loads of times and i have to say their brilliant. great food and drinks great selection i’ve to say. there such a cozy atmosphere in there with such great people, the bar tenders are just lovely so kind and so easy to talk to, it’s great if you just want to pop in for a drink after a walk on the beach the fire is so nice to walk into when it’s a cold evening. couldn’t recommend more

Room was small, and furniture placement made it feel cramped. The attached pub downstairs did not have a traditional Irish feeling (but at least it had a dart board). Close to the beach. 45 minute drive to airport in morning weekday traffic.

If you're looking for a lively spot with great food, drinks, and a nearby beach this is the best in Bray.
