The Stray Sod in

Coming from Cavan Town we made the decision to drop in here for food as it looked nice from the outside. The bar man was nice and it was quiet. The place itself is nice and has an old style feel to it. Mens toilets are not great and could do with a good clean. Food was nice, steak cut chips was a surprise for a bar menu charging €15.50 per head. However, they were a nice change. The only complaint I had was the lasagne was cold in the middle so I did not finish it. I did not complain to them as everything else was spot on and in fairness, lasagne can be a pain to heat throughout. I wouldn’t let that stop me dropping in again. Well worth dropping in if you are passing
