Quiet when we were there, but it seems a nice pub for a pint t where you are able to chat. Not sure if food is served, so I can't comment on that.

Rustic roots restaurant

03/09/2026: Service excellent at the table very attentive
27/08/2026: Had lamb shank during a quiet weekday dinner. Was the best lamb shank I've ever had! Waiter (Phillip) was very considerate and accommodating; as was the chef. Lovely little street bistro with some cool pictures decorating the walls. Next time I'm back in Athlone, I'll bring my family. Keep up the great work! 👏👏
