The Tap Room in Waterford

30/11/2025: I loved my food — it was beautifully hot and full of flavour. He didn’t enjoy his as much, unfortunately. Service was ok… it really depended on who was looking after you. But is it too much to expect that the bottle of wine you order from the menu is opened for you — and maybe even poured? Small detail, but it all counts, doesn’t it? There was beautiful music, but it was a bit too low — we could hear every table around us talking, so the atmosphere felt a little flat. A small tweak could make a big difference. Still, I will definitely go back — the food was lovely.

17/11/2025: Couldn't Speaker any higher of the experience. Great service, atmosphere was nice. But it was the quality of the food that was the stand out, one of our starters was so nice we ordered a second one. An easy strong recommend, will be back without hesitation
