The Tavern in Limerick

03/05/2026: It was okay. I had in on my list for a while, I wouldn’t go again, but it was okay to go once. Food variety is not as big as you expect, very low variety of noodles and rices (for an Asian buffet) and a lot of fried food, and I mean they were nice but, Mac and cheese and lasagna? Service just good, not very friendly but they were polite, effective and that’s what counts. The place was clean.

26/04/2026: When I was growing up this was the best Chinese restaurant around but it’s not quite what it used to be. The business model has changed favoring buffets and robots that bring out your food. I’m not knocking this but simply the experience is not what it used to be and the food while still good is not outstanding. 3 stars out of 5 for me.
