Enjoyed a lovely family meal here this evening, service was excellent, so friendly, food was really good. We had roast lamb, vol au vonts & 2 children's meals. Desserts were also very good, apple pie, brownie & sticky toffee pudding. Absolutely stuffed now, kids were very happy , we'd all happily dine here again.

Food was great, huge portions but great value for money. A la carte starts from 4pm otherwise small menu such as Roast beef, Honey roast bacon and cabbage, chicken curry etc. No light lunch options available.

All I can say is go and see for yourself. We loved it.

Delicious hot carvery available on Sundays, we were a group of 10 and they easily accommodated us, they also offer free squash at the bar for diners. Lovely friendly staff , clean toilets. Will be back again soon.

Nice restaurant just outside of Nenagh. Very attentive and friendly service. I can't agree at all with the positive reviews of the food from previous reviewers. The fish soup tasted okay, but so thick and mushy that you would have been full just by eating it. The spaghetti carbonara was practically inedible. A large portion of pasta with a bland, tasteless, horribly thick sauce that only fills you up but doesn't offer any flavor. What a shame!!! The tagliatelle was okay, but not a highlight. All in all, unfortunately, disappointing and too expensive.

This was our first ever trip to Ireland, and what an unforgettable experience it has been - made even more special by our visit to The Thatched Pub & Restaurant. We were blown away by the warm hospitality, the incredible food (we had the roast lamb and turkey – absolutely delicious! Almost best had ever), and the cosy, authentic Irish atmosphere. The portions were generous 😃 just the way we like it 😋 and each bite tasted homemade, hearty, and full of flavour. But what truly touched our hearts was the people. From the moment we arrived in Ireland, we’ve been deeply impressed by the honesty, decency, and kindness of the Irish people 🇮🇪 and that spirit is alive and well at The Thatched. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel like part of the local community. This place is not just a restaurant ⭐️ it’s a little slice of Irish soul. Highly recommended to anyone looking for great food and even greater people. Go raibh maith agat! Sláinte!
