Went here for Sunday dinner the location, the food, the real homely atmosphere everyone was so nice. Definitely a place to go for a lovely meal, good value too.

Savage dinner, excellent food, service tons of parking. You will not leave here hungry. Closed Mondays. Food is 10 out of 10

Food quality seems to have dropped off last few weeks. I always order the roast beef on Sunday, it was always beautifully soft and tender. Not anymore. Chewy and tough and also no consistency with what's on the plate. 1 week roast potatoes, next week none, yet the table next to me gets them. Another week it's something else missing off the plate!! Surely All dishes should be the very same on the day. Shame really. Service is 1st class, staff are brilliant.

My sisters and I met recently at the thatch. Meal and staff excellent however it's a pity Noreen doesn't engage with her customers a bit more. We are after all keeping her going. Not even hello.The same thing happened the last time I was there. We are all under pressure.
