The Tower Hotel & Leisure Centre in Waterford

We went for the weekend, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms were spotless, so first impression was brilliant. We had food in the hotel restaurant, and absolutely loved it. Overall we will be definitely back to the hotel. Can't praise the hotel and staff enough, and thank you for making our stay a wonderful experience..

Well flashing your naked body in the main street you are in room 133... privacy doesn't exist in this room. And you can't even welcome the sunlight in early morning. It's on the main road. Curtains shut till fully dressed. And as for noise yes traffic was drowned out by the bar directly across the road. Fancy hotel with standard double glazing. Please look into secondary double glazing with a frosted lower section. 2 problems sorted in 1 cheep solution.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of staff available throughout our stay. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The free car parking was also a great benefit, and the hotel provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There were a few areas that could be improved. The TV was quite small and mounted far from the bed, making it difficult to watch comfortably. For a family room, the table was also very small. The room itself felt a little plain, as there were no pictures or decorative touches on the walls. The main issue was in the bathroom, where the seal on the shower door appeared to be missing. As a result, water leaked onto the bathroom floor during every shower. Despite these minor issues, we enjoyed our stay and found the staff and service to be excellent. With a few improvements, this hotel could be even better. We would still recommend it and would consider staying again in the future.

The hotel was overall okay, but unfortunately our experience had a few disappointments. The rooms were fine, but nothing particularly special. The location is very good and convenient, which was definitely a plus. Parking over the weekend was very limited and quite difficult. The biggest issue was the service in the bar and restaurant. On Saturday night I ordered a cocktail and was told I would need to wait 20 minutes. The following day at dinner, they forgot to bring our child’s meal. My husband and I were already halfway through our food before we had to ask where it was. Even after reminding them, it took another 10 minutes or so to arrive. There were also a few basic details missing during dinner—things like salt, sauces, and even cutlery with dessert—which really should already be on the table or brought without asking. The food itself was okay, but nothing extraordinary. My husband also found a hair in his meal when he was nearly finished, which was very disappointing. On Sunday there seemed to be plenty of staff around, but the service still wasn’t great. The staff themselves were polite and friendly, so I can’t fault them personally, but it didn’t feel well organised. We stayed on the third floor with a view of the rooftop, where there was a noisy fan or ventilation unit running, which wasn’t ideal. Another issue was the Wi-Fi—there was no internet in our room, only in the corridor. It worked throughout the rest of the hotel, just not in the room. We reported it and were told they reset the router, but it didn’t solve the issue. To be fair, they did offer to move us to another room, but as we were leaving the following morning we decided not to change. Overall, the location was great and the staff were friendly, but the service and attention to detail let the stay down.

We stayed here for the weekend. We had a disability room, which was fantastic. Huge room with plenty of space for wheelchair. Gorgeous decor, great bar and live music and the friendliest staff. Couldn't have been better. We're going back in November
