The Tullow Gate - JD Wetherspoon in Carlow

Typical Wetherspoon Pub - food lovely n reasonably priced. Good varierty menu. Staff fairly friendly n toilets were spotless. Been in a few Wetherspoon Restaurants ova the years n this one fairly comes up to expectations. Only small negative is i thought decor was a wee bit grotty n fairly dark etc. Other than thatcwudcrecommebd n wud go back in future 👍

Really great value for money on their food menu, and tasty! And it's a total incentive to go back for their free refills. Buy coffee/tea/mineral and top up on refill as you like. I'm posting this in March '24 , so I hear it's changing ownership-hands or something, so hopefully, none of that will change too much 5*.

food was good but the staff were absolutely brilliant especially the lovely girl alex. she was very attentive and helpful. drinks were to perfection and the staff were so welcoming and lovely to chat too. great atmosphere would be better with a bit of music

Good for craft beer and some cheap pints

Great experience with the family. Cosy ,warm ,friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be back with the family.

Wow fantastic value Steak dinner and a pint of fosters for under €14.

Nice place, a pity 'spoons want to sell it.
