Nice little pub, but pity about the main barman, doesn't take pride in his work. Pints of slop he serves all the time

Il Caffe Di Napoli

11/06/2025: Been there mostly for coffee or some small drinks for evening catch ups with friend & was always tend to go back because the barista Lukas really brought us Italian hospitality at the table eventho he is Brazilian. But today we went downstairs & had real Italian gastronomic experience in this small restaurant(all of them blind ordered recommended by Otelo) living Dublin more than 5 years this was one of the best food experiences I have had & thank you guys for serving us & THANKS to chiefs! you know how to rock!
05/06/2025: To be honest we tried to get into another Italian eatery first but couldn’t therefore we ended up here by default and that was lucky for us. As you enter you soon realise there are two parts with a cafe upstairs and a restaurant downstairs seemingly two separate businesses. We were lucky to get a table secured for an hour and a half between bookings. Very nice downstairs space: Good looking menu choices. Food very good. Hot and tasty. Nice wine too. We all shared one desert 🤣🤣 Not too pricey. Good toilets too. Recommended 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇮🇳

Apache Pizza

23/04/2025: An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Apache Pizza – Bachelor's Walk If you're ever in Dublin and looking for a spot that effortlessly combines delicious food, warm service, and a vibrant atmosphere, look no further than Apache Pizza on Bachelor's Walk. I recently visited with a large group of friends—there were twelve of us in total—and I cannot emphasize enough how flawless the entire experience was from start to finish. The Food – A Culinary Revelation Let’s start with the star of the show: the food. Every single item we ordered was an explosion of flavor. The pizzas were absolute masterpieces—perfectly cooked with that golden, slightly crispy crust that still manages to remain fluffy inside. We tried a variety, including the classic Pepperoni Passion, the BBQ Meat Feast, and the Veggie Supreme. Each was generously topped, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that actually tasted like real, thoughtfully-prepared food—not your average fast-food pizza at all. The cheese was melted to gooey perfection, the tomato sauce had just the right balance of sweetness and acidity, and the toppings were layered evenly so every bite had something to offer. The garlic cheesy bread was another standout—soft, buttery, with a rich garlic aroma that filled the table the moment it arrived. Even the side dips were well-portioned and flavorful, especially the garlic and herb sauce and the spicy buffalo. Service – Hospitality at Its Finest Despite our large group, the staff were nothing short of incredible. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a can-do attitude. We hadn’t booked in advance, yet the team managed to arrange seating for all of us quickly and efficiently, without so much as a sigh of inconvenience. Our orders were taken with care and accuracy, and the servers made sure to check on us regularly—not in an intrusive way, but just enough to make sure we were happy. One of our friends has a food allergy, and the staff handled the situation with absolute professionalism, clearly explaining which items were safe and even double-checking with the kitchen to be sure. It’s rare to see that level of attentiveness in a casual dining spot, and we were all deeply impressed. Atmosphere – A Place You Want to Stay In The ambiance was lively without being too loud, making it perfect for both conversation and fun. There was a comfortable mix of locals and tourists, and the music played at just the right volume—enough to add energy without overpowering anyone’s voice. The lighting was cozy and warm, and the décor had a modern, urban feel that made the place feel current and stylish while still remaining welcoming. What really stood out was how the place seemed to balance being casual and laid-back with still offering a sense of occasion. You could tell it’s the kind of spot where people come to celebrate birthdays, hang out after work, or just enjoy a great meal with friends—and everyone feels welcome. Perfect for Groups Managing a group of twelve can often be a logistical nightmare in a busy city center, but Apache Pizza made it look easy. Tables were rearranged quickly, we were all served at roughly the same time (a small miracle), and not a single order was wrong. The wait times were impressively short, considering the volume, and the staff remained calm and professional throughout. Final Verdict Apache Pizza on Bachelor's Walk has completely redefined what I expect from a casual pizza place. It’s not just the food—though that alone would be worth a visit—but the holistic experience they offer: thoughtful service, a buzzing atmosphere, and an environment that truly caters to groups without compromising on quality or comfort. Whether you’re a solo traveler looking for a quick and satisfying meal, a couple out on a casual date, or a big group out for a night of food and fun, this place delivers—literally and figuratively. Highly, highly recommended.
