The Villager in Glassan

Food was delicious, reasonably priced and staff were excellent. Its only 6min drive from Glasson Lakehouse and its dog friendly.

Food here was exceptional, pint of Guinness at 5.40 was excellent. Staff were friendly but efficient.

One of the best places in Athlone; you know you’re always going to get delicious food, drinks and with great service! The setting itself is brilliant- quaint pub vibes- and live music just adds to it! Get the curry cheese chips with any main 👌🏻🥰

You could describe the food with all the superlatives you can think of... Very Very Tasty would be one that comes to mind. Really Excellent is another.... The veg, the sauces, the crispy spuds and not to mention the main events were very much appreciated and enjoyed. The people of Glasson are very lucky to have such great food on their doorstep at a reasonable price. Well done all.

We ate here twice this week. Both times we had a fantastic experience. The steak and sides were absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back.
