Fantastic food offered by fantastic people as usual. I've dined here for years and every single time without fail the food and service has been consistently excellent no matter what the occasion or order.

An amazing place to hang out with friends , can enjoy time playing pool table , they have a summer only pizza place , great ambience , a recommended place and will visit again for the pizzas
Cosy and welcoming with two real peat fires both ends of the dining room / bar. Staff are lovely and eager to please. The food is a dining experience, beautifully presented and ample portions. So far, the best cuisine we’ve experienced in Ireland … but we’ve only lived here for a five years! We had the more expensive dishes but they offer fishers at varied prices - great value if you appreciate quality ingredients and fresh cooked from order. Well done guys, we’ll be back for more!
We were a party of 11 including 3 young kids. As usual the food was delicious and the atmosphere even more so. But the staff get the biggest shout out - they were brilliant, especially when dealing with the younger ones. We had a great evening there.
08/02/2025: Great food in a beautiful oldstyle pub, welcoming, friendly staff and locals and a blazing fire on a cold day.
The chowder was delicious as was the brown bread and the calamari and prawns were as good as I have ever had.
