Best pub on the planet, great staff and service a wonderful local pub.

A great local, where staff are always friendly, professional and attentive. The pints of black stuff are impeccable. The food is Chinese cuisine from the restaurant upstairs, fresh and tasty. You can also have a few drinks before and after the dinner you booked in the restaurant upstairs and you can order from the extensive drinks available while eating in the restaurant, freshly poured pints included. Tea, barista coffee , sandwiches, scones and biscuits available too. Guests from the nearby international hotel come in and get a million welcomes (cead míle fáilte) from the staff and the locals that drink and eat there. Previous reviewers think that a glass of water is a drink and sharing a starter between 2 is a meal, and bringing in their own snacks to eat is ok, obviously not. The standards the owners, management and staff have set are the reasons why many happy customers return to The Viscount on a daily and regular basis.

The Viscount Pub is my favorite spot to unwind. It's a very comfortable place where I often take my breaks. The food and drinks are excellent, and the staff is always friendly. The manager is really nice and friendly too, and they do a fantastic job ensuring everything runs smoothly. Overall, this place is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a good meal.

Loved it here. Went for the darts final and had such a good time we decided to make it a more regular thing.

Was never a big fan of Guinness back home. Bar tender convinced me to try it. What a difference in taste. I'm not sure if it's to do with it's travelling a far shorter distance, temperature or whatever but it's safe to say I ended up having around 8 pints of it. Had a great night, staff were very friendly and sarcastic, something I look for in people. Thank yous and if you want to try, just ask for short ar*e.

A very nice pub ,the staff are very nice and helpful 🙏I highly recommend and the restaurant upstairs The Golden Palace is also worth a visit,the food is gorgeous and the staff are very professional ..We as a family had a brilliant visit today .Thank you so much,we will be back again 😊

Great friendly local pub. Lovely pint of Guinness along with all the usual other options, but theres only one pint to have. Go on get in there and try it yourself. Enjoy a pint in the outdoor seating in this lovely weather. Week after week its still the same. Go call in for a pint. All the staff are friendly and welcomming, go on get in there and while you are there you can order from the bar menu or from the chinese upstairs and it will be brought down to your table. Go on get in there and give it a try.
