The Waterloo in Dublin

This pub is an absolute gem and easily one of the best in town. It has such a fantastic, classic vibe that makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend checking out their Tuesday quiz night—it’s a blast and always a great time.

What a delightful surprise to find such an outstanding spot just a short stroll from our hotel (Dylan Hotel). The Waterloo House delivered on every front—food, service, atmosphere, and that rare feeling of being genuinely welcomed. 🧅 The Onion Rings were a crispy, golden revelation—light, flavorful, and dangerously addictive. 🍽️ My wife’s dish? I can’t recall the name, but I do remember her smile. That says it all. 🍺 The beer selection was a standout—diverse, well-curated, and full of local flavor. The bartender guided us with care and offered a small sample to help us choose. I landed on the Wicklow Wolf, and now I’m on a mission to find it back home. It’s that good. 🎨 And just when we thought the evening couldn’t get better, we noticed the picture of Sinéad—a quiet, powerful tribute that added soul to the space. Whether you're in for a pint, a bite, or a moment of calm in the city, The Waterloo House is the kind of place that makes you feel lucky to have found it. We’ll be raising a glass to this memory for a long time.

The beautiful, green surroundings give it an "Irish" feel. A very tasty stew with Guinness sauce, really filling and not spicy. Irish coffee with baileys really warms it up :D

This little pub was jammed full of great food, drink and hospitality. Local barman was very welcoming. Five stars I give it.

Toured Paris, Ireland and Scottland. The Waterloo was the best chowder and steak sandwich. Best meal of our entire trip. If you want a bloody good Chowder then this is a must do stop on the intinery. The steak sanga was outstanding. Better than any one we have had in Australia!!!

Tried this for the first time, staffs were so friendly and nice, good atmosphere. Must try this beer 👍👍

Great bar and finger food was there for a party

This place is a great spot for social drinks with friends or big group bookings (work or social) The staff are always extremely accommodating and super efficient. Big shout out to Mags for being amazing 🙏🏻
