The Water's Edge in Moville

Had a fabulous back massage today from Stephanie. she was rly friendly and offered me advice after my treatment to ensure my back felt better in the future. all the staff my partner and i came into contact with were lovely and we really enjoyed the facilities throughout. my only issue is that the pool temperature could have been a tad warmer but i still enjoyed it nonetheless!

This hotel seemed more concerned about saving costs, rather than providing great customer service. Unlike most hotels we've stayed at, there was no coffee in the lobby. In addition, there were constant banging sounds in the hallway late at night. I will say that the food was very good.

Stayed here for a while during an ireland trip on coach. All staff were polite and helpful, food was fantastic.

Disappointing arrival, problem at reception on arrival, I would have imagined a more pleasant arrival, given the standing of the hotel, shame!

Was at the swimming pool/sauna,very limited spaces (two)to change in the ladies.

Stayed for a corporate function. Hotel was comfortable, food was good, and staff were friendly. Location is remote — expect 45-minute waits unless you pre-book a taxi. Not ideal for golfers needing easy access to nearby courses.

We were filming a wedding here on Saturday. Everything was set for a perfect day when a series of unexpected power cuts happened. One of them lasted over two hours. This was a first for us in all our years of filming weddings. What stood out immediately was how the staff handled the situation. Their calm presence, clear communication, and level of professionalism were incredible. Kevin, Emer and Rachel were consistently reassuring and organised, keeping everyone informed throughout. The younger staff were equally impressive. They remained composed, focused and completely reliable under pressure. The atmosphere stayed positive because of how well the team led from the front. No panic. No confusion. Only action, support and solutions. We have worked in many venues and the way this team responded truly set them apart. They did not let the situation define the day. Their standard of care and commitment to guests did. Seriously Can’t wait to return... great people, great location!
