Best meal in Ranelagh, and best deal in all of Dublin! Fancy atmosphere but casual enough; pleasant and attentive staff. Exceptionally well priced for the quality. Pork belly starter (pictured) was unforgettable… every item on this complicated duck entree (pictured) was great—no weak links! Also pictured is seabass, highly recommended.

01/04/2024: Brutal!!! The price to be in this area is incredible. The food is very good. The salmon with white wine sauce is great, everything is very delicious. Highly recommended if you want to eat well and not spend a lot of money.
28/03/2024: The only restaurant where we were able to get a table when we arrived in Dublin without a reservation. The interior is average, but the waitresses are very nice. What was our astonishment when the dishes turned out to be delicious, all tastes combined perfectly. We ate really well. A bill of 90€ in the end for 2 for aperitif, main course, dessert and Irish coffee.

Step Inn

27/03/2024: I left the five stars reviews years ago, but just updating because I still frequent The Step Inn and just had the Hake which is one of the nicest meals I've had in ages. Really delicious and beautiful presentation. The chicken supreme is amazing as well. Great place :)
25/03/2024: Beautiful Mothers day meal. Staff all very helpful and friendly. We had a medical emergency afterwards and everyone was so helpful. I can't thank the staff enough.
