We were just there to drink. Service fits. Price level as usual in the center of Dublin. As in any pub, the ambience is simply great, even if the decoration could have been given a basic cleaning.

The bathrooms are a bit dodgy with the door locks. The smoking area is small but nice. The overall bar/ club area is good. Easy to mingle through and see people.

Popped in after the Abbey (matinee), as always looking for places nearby, looking forward to dining upstairs overlooking the river, but it didn't seem to be open, but the very charming waiting staff had a little perch waiting for us downstairs (we booked in advance) It's very reasonably priced for Dublin, the food was very tasty. Cocktail and wine menu is pretty good and a full bar also.

Our table was reserved as booked but a person had to be moved from our table. Food was top class - hot and great portions. One veggie meal was forgotten and when we enquired, there was a genuine apology and we were not charged for it and it came within 5 mins so we were satisfied with that.

Vintage Cocktail Club

10/11/2024: we came here on a saturday evening and loved the drinks- delicious. However I did feel we were very rushed. Despite having booked a two hour slot from 9:30pm, at 10:20 we were told they were taking last drink orders. We were then given the bill around 10:35 and were then told they needed the table back at 10:50. We had to explain to them that the booking showed a two hour slot ending at 11:30, which the waitress had to go and check (odd since it seems like all the bookings in the evening are two hours) and she then said we could stay. although we had 40 minutes left in the booking, we were never offered another drink. I think overall the service was lovely and we were given great recommendations from the server but we didn’t feel we could fully relax since we kept getting interrupted with signs they wanted us to leave.
10/11/2024: On second visit the experience was highlighted by our server Gabi! What a star :)
