Simply one of the best coffee shops in Dalkey or dare I say it potentially in Dublin. One of the few places where you can walk in and there is bit of atmosphere with people from all ages. The choices of salads, sandwiches and coffee’s (even down to different types of beans available) is just brilliant. There is the option to sit in or takeout if it’s busy which it can usually get quite quickly! Occasionally I like to grab a coffee and a honey baked ham sandwich (my favourite) and sit outside on the bench in the sun on the Main Street. The staff are always brilliant and happy to recommend excellent choices if you’re stuck!

It looks like a nice sit in cafe but acts like a takeaway. Probably the most wasteful cafe I’ve seen. My wife and I went in for a quick bite and coffee. Nice looking place. I had coffee and sausage roll, she had quiche and coke. Reheated food and coffee were fine. Service is poor and all counter based, table wasn’t wiped down from previous customers. No direction to cutlery. Coke was in a glass bottle that we had to get from a fridge, had to ask for a glass and for the bottle to be opened. Everything is disposable, cardboard containers, paper cups, plastic containers for relish, wooden cutlery. That’s fine for takeaway but more of an effort could be made for sit in customers. Most of the waste is compostable but not recyclable because it is food contaminated but there is no compost bin just general and recycling. Not the most environmentally sustainable or customer based business.

Great spot for a quick tasty bite … staff are good … seating limited but they’ve made the most of the space & it’s grand …

Very chill thyme out place. Lovely place to meet and char with friends--that's the vibe I felt. It looks like it's a grab and go kinda place because nearly a third of the lunchtime takeaway offers were gone by 9:15.
