Tierney's in Clonmel

Absolutely beautiful, atmospheric and welcoming pub with a friendly service. Food is amazing and there is so much space and it is so comfortable.

My wife and I had a wonderful time visiting Sean's and had a most delicious meal. So much to see, great service, and such nice people. Definitely need to give it a try if you are in town.

We called in here for our dinner and though the premises is quite unique it wouldn't be for me. The staff were friendly and service was good so no fault that side. The food was average. One of the dishes we got was homemade lasagna and to be honest the portions size was small. It came with 6/7 chips. At first I didn't think it was mine we thought it was a child portion. Though music is a personal preference the background music choice was poor. It was slow tempo jazz of some sort. Just added to a dreary atmosphere.

Nice place, had some beer with folks. Recommend.

Ein originelles Lokal, allerdings haben wir offenbar einen Tag erwischt an dem eigentlich zu sein sollte. An Dienstagen scheint überhaupt in Clonmel nicht viel los zu sein, weil wir ziemlich lange suchen mussten um überhaupt einen Taxifahrer zu finden der an diesem Tag arbeiten wollte. Als dies endlich gelungen war kamen wir in ein fast leeres Lokal, das zwar sehr gemütlich war, aber auch an diesem Tag war nur eine Dame fürs Service da. Sie war zwar sehr freundlich, aber die Speisenauswahl war dürftig, die gebackenen Champignons und die gebackenen Shrimps waren ausreichend als Portionen aber auch die Lammkottelets ließen den erwarteten Gaumenschmaus vermissen. Die Weinauswahl war dürftig und nur durch "Stifterln" a 0,25 l zu befriedigen. Kann sein, dass wir nicht den besten Tag erwischt haben, aber man sollte sich vor Bestellung eines Tisches über Transportmöglichkeiten vergewissern.

If you ever find yourself in this corner of Ireland, this pub is a must! As soon as you enter you know there is something special. A piece of jewelry. Pictures follow Anyone who thinks that the decoration is everything is wrong. The food and service are also great. An unforgettable pub visit.

Hidden Gem! Lovely ambiance with lots of memorabilia to discover. The food was outstanding. I especially recommend the home made chips. Sean is a friendly host and fun to be around. Personally I also really liked the music in the venue. Don’t miss this hidden treasure in Clonmel.
