The food is fresh and freshly prepared. You can eat very well there at a reasonable price. The service is excellent, attentive, and friendly.

Lovely clean pub and friendly lady behind the bar. I was allowed in before their official opening time, I must've looked thirsty. Will visit again when I'm over next in April

18/08/2025: This Chinese restaurant was a complete surprise to me i wasn't expecting to find a Chinese restaurant in Carraroe but what a nice surprise staff were very nice service was good the food was great and the place has a pleasant friendly atmosphere and good prices.

Cookhouse Galway

05/10/2025: Long day walking the Cliffs of Moher and we were looking for someplace to eat and rest our feet. Gatto Rosso let us do both. I have an extreme dairy allergy so Italian restaurants are always a challenge. Add to that our server was very new and I ordered a no cheese pizza. Not gonna lie, I was worried. I shouldn't have been. Either the manager or the owner came out and confirmed that I wanted a no cheese pizza and assured me it would be free of any dairy. What I got was one of the best pizzas I have ever had in my life. I ate the whole darn thing because it was so good. SO got pasta and loved it. Oh and the beer was excellent. We sat outside in the beautiful weather and people watched. When we are back in Galway not in a heat wave I will gladly sit inside. Great food, great location and exceptional service. Thank you!
