I had the BEST SANDWICH OF MY LIFE here. Pillowy delicious focaccia, aubergine croquettes with a pickled slaw and a gingery sauce, it was huge and it was amazing. Super kind staff too.

13/07/2026: Beautiful and truly authentic location. A local sitting next to me explained this is one of Dublin’s historic pubs. Lots of locals, few tourists, the atmosphere is incredible, with people just genuinely wanting to spend time together chatting and playing cards. The bartender was exceptionally kind and attentive, with remarkable sensitivity. There were two of us in wheelchairs, and despite it being Friday night, he found us a comfortable table and served us with genuine care for our needs. Highly recommended! We returned with great pleasure the next evening to watch a World Cup match, and the experience was equally spectacular.
