Nice place to eat big portions. Bit slow to take your order. But make up for it on how fast food was ready .

We visited recently after a family event. We weren't sure of our numbers but we were accommodated effortlessly by the super efficient staff (Callum deserves special mention for his professionalism). The food was delicious. There is a gorgeous atmosphere at the Woodlands and family is obviously the central theme. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you.

Was here for the week in the hotel so tried a fair bit of the menu. Overall everything was good. Loved the beef burger. Was the best thing on the menu. The jam was a nice savoury touch. Wasn't overly impressed by the pork belly special was a little hard to cut. But the steak was disappointing for 30euro you'd think it would be pretty good. It was hard to chew. The triple cooked chip were overcooked, they weren't crunchy and crisp but just a bit hard. I got the dark chocolate tart, sticky toffee pudding and the lemon pommet. Love the tart big fan for anything dark chocolate. The texture reminds me of thick Nutella. The sticky toffee was one of the nicest toffee puddings I had in a long time. The lemon pommet was lovely and tangy. Would recommend recommend again. Would love to see a pasta dish on the menu

A let down ————————— Well we have not been to eat here in a while Went on Wednesday really lovely place everyone very welcome I have to mention the girl who took our order and looked after us was amazing A gem in every way RUTH was outstanding But now for the food My husband ordered Steak he said it was delicious he eat everything I ordered the Vol au vents as a main Very very disappointed the sauce was congealed on the plate like jelly ☹️ I don’t know if they were trying to keep it hot waiting on the steak for my husband but way too much sauce could not eat it as it was set like jelly. The service was great but I won’t be ordering the same meal again for me
