I went there on a frigid day when it was literally hailing on Howth–there’s a fireplace and they serve Beamish. That’s 5 stars right there! Great spot for a pint after completing The Bog of the Frogs Loop!

Friendly, in a charming place, and with very delicious dishes. The fish soup is magnificent, the brownie is spectacular. Tasty fried fish and potatoes, and the avocado salad with crab is great.

Lovely service. Fish and chips portion was whopping but quality was unreal. Cosy as hell. The chips were a bit gelatinous but mainly class.

18/01/2025: De vuelta a Hacienda para otra súper noche de fiesta. Todo sobre este lugar es de primera clase. Una cálida y amable bienvenida - encantadores cócteles - excelente comida - muy buen vino - un entorno cómodo - precios muy razonables. Este es un súper restaurante, y visitamos a menudo - y nunca se decepcionó. Muy recomendable.

01/02/2025: The food was ok, no sauces were brought for the chips. I guess I needed to ask. The staff were lovely but maybe communication could be improved between them because I was followed out when I was leaving to ask if I had paid when I had already paid with the person serving when I initially went in!
30/01/2025: The friendly staff and tasty home cooked food makes this a pub you want to go back to . I randomly went in there during my trip to Dublin and was immediately struck by the top class tasty food . Cant wait to visit again .
