Very pleasant typical pub where the drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is family and festive! Great value for money if you are passing through Howth.

Howth is Paradise. And once you're done hiking through what appear to be God's own trails along the coast to the summit and back, stop here for an absolute banger of an experience. We bumped into the most amazing locals here and went well over our stipulated stop schedule as the conversations were warm and informative. Loved every bit of it.

I went there last night and I have to be honest. It was my first time ever eating here in Ireland and I had always wanted to try a cottage/ Shepard's pie and was excited to see it on the menu. I asked the Waitress about it and she highly recommended the dish. I was not disappointed with my meal there was so much flavour packed into the dish and it was overall amazing. The waitress was super friendly.

I've only been there three times but if carlsberg did pubs it would be this one and I actually mean that, fantastic folks keep it up 💪🏻👍🏼

Went there on Wednesday night for food and music. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. Had no 00 guinness which was a little disappointing as I was driving, but the 00 Heineken was grand. Highly recommended and good value for money. The musicians are unbelievably talented.

We were walking back to town after doing Trail #2 in Howth and found McNeil's. It's a locals place, as it was starting to get busy when we were leaving. Decent beer and wine selection.

Went here to see a gig. Didn't have any food but the pints were nice, bar staff very attentive and not waiting too long to get served. Felt like a "safe" place to unwind.

Really great spot for lunch! It was just across from our hotel at Motel One so was the perfect stop for us before we set off to explore the city. Great tasting food and portion sizes at a very reasonable price as well.

We ordered breakfast here for two mornings during our recent stay in Dublin. We opted for a breakfast bagel and plain bagel. A good range of drinks ordered too - coffee, Cappucino, hot chocolate, tea and orange juice. Food and service were both excellent. We would definitely recommend here if you like a good breakfast bagel to start your day!
