Reception staff weren't friendly, arrived up to the desk 2 of them busy on separate computers but didn't even look up to acknowledge me, very awkward just waiting till them decided to engage with me (longer than it should of). Check in told to come back between 330-4 that's crazy late. Breakfast was like the hunger games, waiting to see if the croissants would be restocked (only 1 basket out of 3 ever had anything and all gone by 930), toast you had to ask the wait staff for, didn't realise this till we'd got our hot breakfast so had gone cold by time it arrived, not sure why the people behind the hot counter can't provide toast. Room was nice in fairness, but reception staff and scant breakfast means we won't be back.

Lovely clean hotel, only downside was that there was no AC in the rooms, otherwise perfect in every way!

Lovely stay girl on check in and check out Danny I’m pretty sure was lovely! She checked us in from the very beginning and was very helpful with everything. Car park close distance to hotel and food was lovely in the bar. Leisure centre facilities were fantastic too and we were happy we got to use the pool and jacuzzi for free. Will definitely stay again! Rooms very clean and comfortable.

We booked two rooms. Two different atmospheres.
The first was well-kept and modern, the second was dated and noisy.
We had a good meal, and the waiter was pleasant.

It was a very old but nice hotel, the food is also fantastic and a nice choice of menu... definitely worth repeating.

Decent basic hotel in a good location in Waterford with an added bonus of having its own carpark only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and do make an effort to assist you with various requests. The breakfast is Ok but nothing to write home about. There was no issue in requesting gluten free toast but extremely poor choice of breads and sweet cakes. There was a mixed bowl of fruit but no individual pieces of fruit. Again the breakfast staff were very helpful. The rooms are fine with all amenities such as a decent flat screen TV, safe, kettle with tea and coffee, ironing board with iron, and a bathroom with bath/shower. Towels were of good quality with a mat provided for the base of the bath for showering. Excellent locking mechanism of the bedroom door. The bed was comfortable with plenty of switches for the various lights in the room. The room was well maintained by the housekeeping staff. Seats in the lounge area were large but not very comfortable. The bar does have live music which is generally good but the drink prices were expensive for a three star hotel. There is a leisure center with pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and GYM. There was one young male staff member that I unfortunately encountered at the leisure center on the 1st evening of my stay while making enquiries about same. He was one of the RUDEST, IGNORANT staff member that I have ever encountered in any hotel I have ever stayed in. He was an absolute disgrace. I again went down the following morning to the Leisure Centre to enquire about the facilities available. This time I met with a lovely friendly lady who gave me all the information I required unlike the young male staff member that I encountered on the previous evening. She was an absolute credit to the hotel. Overall while not being a fancy hotel it does the job without any airs and graces.

My recent visit to Treacys Hotel was truly fantastic. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with friendly smiles and a clean, relaxing environment. The facilities are top-notch and very well maintained. A special shoutout to Fiona and Ryan, who were both exceptionally kind and attentive — they genuinely made my experience more enjoyable. Fiona’s warm energy and Ryan’s helpful attitude didn’t go unnoticed. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and eager to return. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great leisure experience with outstanding customer service!

For parking buses at night time, thera only space at the back of hotel in O'konel Street, right in the back of hotel. Drop of pasanger and lagage at front(thera is litle gep for buses) then go over the bridge, make a cerul at rondebound, and come back in same way, pass straight traffic lights, and immediately tern left, thera parking.
