We had a beautiful stay & great atmosphere

Friendly staff. Bedroom was nice enough, but the heating wasn't working. We had a front facing room with nice view of the river.

Stayed for a few days last week. Lovely stay. On arrival the receptionist was polite warm and courteous My room was small, single room, double (super comfortable) bed over looking river with really lovely bathroom. Breakfast was wholesome and the staff were extremely nice and welcoming each morning. The one down fall to this hotel is the dreadful Timble toes bar/ Restaurant. I attempted to eat her on my arrival night( my first and only time). Food arrived cold on a hot plate. when i complained about it , i was asked by a lady in a wine jacket would i like something different. i declined as i just wanted what i ordered. She stated No problem. She brought me back the same dinner reheated about 5 mins later, the piece of meat that i had cut was still in the same spot on plate. I just said thanks a proceeded to eat. She arrived back at my table 2 min later and in a very sarcastic tone asked " is that all right for you know".

It's a lovely hotel. Great service, wonderful staff, great place for country music lovers, check when bands are there, can be difficult to book a room at certain times. Parking is a problem. There is no parking in the hotel. Plenty of public car park spaces across a very busy street and it's not gree

Nice coffee ☕️ but no waggon wheels

We have stayed hear a few times and must say we love it. Staff was lovely. Room was so clean. The leisure centre was perfect too. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you Tracy's hotel.

The room was not well placed to get to it, you took a lift to the 1st floor then walk down a corridor with many twists to the far end of the hotel then up a 6ft wheelchair lift then along another corridor to the very back of the hotel then up 2 floors in another lift then down the last corridor to the room in total over 200 paces to the back corner of the hotel which covers a whole city block Had some communication issues with some staff, on the 1st night we had a meal in the restaurant they had to be reminded about our drinks order which didn't arrive till after we had finished the starter, which they still got wrong bringing a full Coke instead of a diet Coke. When we ordered the dinner there were issues as my wife doesn't like garlic, we enquired if the chicken supreme had garlic and were told it did so she ordered the fish and chips. When her meal came it was a half chicken on a bed of mash, with some veg. The waitress stated she had got the chef not to put the supreme sauce on it so it arrived dry. My wife took it as she was hungry, but wasn't happy. Then the waitress overcharged us adding everything up individually instead of applying the 2-course meal deal, I tried to tell her but she didn't listen or understand. I couldn't be bothered to dispute it anymore for a few euros. Two nights later in the Timbertoes bar, one of the barmen got the order wrong again but it was corrected by another barman. My wife didn't feel the staff were that friendly, but they worn't rude.

Reception staff weren't friendly, arrived up to the desk 2 of them busy on separate computers but didn't even look up to acknowledge me, very awkward just waiting till them decided to engage with me (longer than it should of). Check in told to come back between 330-4 that's crazy late. Breakfast was like the hunger games, waiting to see if the croissants would be restocked (only 1 basket out of 3 ever had anything and all gone by 930), toast you had to ask the wait staff for, didn't realise this till we'd got our hot breakfast so had gone cold by time it arrived, not sure why the people behind the hot counter can't provide toast. Room was nice in fairness, but reception staff and scant breakfast means we won't be back.

Lovely clean hotel, only downside was that there was no AC in the rooms, otherwise perfect in every way!

Nice hotel, a bit neglected, great location, and friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings.
