Treacys West County Hotel in Ennis

Part of a Caledonia coach trip, 5 day stay arrived Monday evening, room clean, comfortable, shower rail could be cleaned with some wire wool to remove rust. Tuesday opened room door and handle came off in my husbands hand, he reported at reception and was told it would be sorted by lady (could be duty manager)we were out all day on our return, door not repaired, I picked up phone to call reception and it was not working, I went to reception once again to report door and phone not working, nice young man at reception came to the room and repaired handle to best of his ability ( still no sign of maintenance person) Wednesday back to reception again same issue ( same lady..could be duty manager ) it will be repaired and phone replaced by end of day) left on Friday morning and door and phone still broken. STILL NOT SEEN MAINTENANCE PERSON My brother was in next room so I gave him a keycard incase of getting locked in room he could unlock from outside incase of emergency. Staff very polite and as helpful as they could be..disappointed with breakfast, i like continental (cereal, dried fruit, pastries) not looking for anything fancy ..breakfast served from 7am but don't put out pastries until 8.30am, surely they are part of breakfast and should be out at 7am when breakfast is served.🤔🤔. Could be better, area at water feature could be lovely just need some cleaning with a jet wash and general tidy up..pool area..changing rooms need freshened up, maybe checked regularly throughout the day by a member of staff very untidy, spa was great but again need bleached around the drain.

We stayed for 3 nights in Treacy west hotel The kids club is great, they play in the soft play and watch a movie every Evening and collect the children from the room in the morning for the breakfast train, all the girls working in the kids club were absolutely amazing, Emily and Mary were very good with our daughter x

Recently had an extended six night stay here. The hotel is in an ideal location, and the rooms are of a good standard. What truly sets this hotel apart from anywhere else I’ve stayed is the staff! I’ve stayed in many Irish hotels, and this one by far has the friendliest staff who genuinely can’t do enough to help you. Sometimes this level of service goes unrecognised. I never write reviews but the outstanding service from every member of staff made it necessary! From the initial warm welcome from Jorja to the ongoing support throughout my stay from Alanannah, Eliot, Grainne, Aoibhinn, and Helena, every interaction was positive. These are the people who make guests want to return time and time again. It’s the one thing you can’t buy. Staff like this are a true asset to any business!

We stayed here for 2 nights and thought the hotel was great.On our Ireland trip we stayed at 6 hotels and this hotel definitely had the best bar of them all and the outdoor seating area is fantastic.The rooms were good if a little dated but that didn't spoil the experience at all and found the bed very comfy.we both enjoyed the breakfast here and the staff were also fantastic.i would definitely stop here again

My husband and I stayed at the West County Hotel last week. Our experience was amazing. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their service was great! We had breakfast in the restaurant in the mornings. The food was tasty, with a wide range of choice to pick from. Our room was cozy and warm, with a large, comfortable double bed. Everything was clean and well-kept. In addition to that, the hotel is located 5 minutes away from town. It is local and everything is within reach. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a few days away, to relax and enjoy a holiday!
