We visited Ventry Beach twice during our trip, and each time we noticed the restaurant overlooking the bay. Although we didn't have the chance to dine there this time, the location is absolutely stunning. Judging by the proximity to the ocean and the elevation, the views from the tables must be incredible, especially when the Atlantic is in its dramatic, stormy mood. ​It’s definitely on our list for the next visit to Kerry. The whole area has a unique, raw energy that stays with you long after you leave. 5/5 for the location alone!

My first time in there, I loved it,food was great, staff were friendly, atmosphere was decent, even the punters were sound, the only thing that ruined the evening was the Indian chap driving the taxi outside charged me €22 from Quinlan's to Tallaght but that's not on Quinlan's. Just be mindful when getting your lift home folks. We'll done Quinlan's 👍

The place is actually great! Their service is good which was a surprise as the service in general in getting very poor around, but they have plenty of young guys all very friendly nice and quick. The timing for the food was actually short price was ok same as the portions it was right! They have lived music and the atmosphere gets very nice! Highly recomend the place

08/06/2026: Great people, great venue, great baklava. Well worth a visit to this peaceful cafe place.
23/05/2026: I have been a frequent visitor of Silk Road cafe for a number of years, for lunch, for afternoon tea and picking up Too Good To Go boxes. Their food is incredible and their staff are amazing, hospitalty is 10/10. I recently went to Afternoon Tea and as always the experience is second to none, the member of staff who served us was fantastic. I cannot believe that they are being forced to close for 6 months and there is a risk that they might not be able to reopen. The Silk Road cafe is an institution at Chester Beatty and I really hope that a solution is found that they can remain open from the side gates with good signage for tourists and Locals to continue to enjoy lunch here across the summer months. Thanks.
