Loved it here! Haven’t a clue about coffee but Sean and Adam were very helpful. A delicious Mocha with marshmallows went down a treat! Yum yum!

Best coffe in South Dublin! I’m a big fan of capuccinos and is the best one so far I’ve tried in Dublin. They also are very nice guys!

Absolutely love this place! They have the best matcha I’ve ever had — smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. Graham and Eric are super friendly and always make you feel welcome. Highly recommend!

John Fallon's "The Capstan Bar"

31/03/2026: A small, traditional pub opposite St. Patrick's Cathedral. We found John Fallon's on the recommendation of a local. It's exactly what you imagine an Irish pub to be, including the locals behind the bar. Unfortunately, it's a bit far from our hotel near Trinity College; otherwise, we probably would have gone there more often.
22/03/2026: Tucked away and easy to miss if you don’t know it, The Capstan Bar is one of those rare gems that truly lives up to the saying: great things come in small packages. It may not be the most famous spot in Dublin, but it’s certainly known by those who appreciate quality and authenticity. The atmosphere is warm, genuine, and refreshingly unpretentious—exactly what you want from a proper local bar. And the Guinness? Simply outstanding. Consistently poured to perfection, with that rich, creamy head and a flawless draw, it’s as good as you’ll find anywhere in the city. If you’re looking for character, quality, and a truly excellent pint, this place delivers every single time. A five-star experience without question.
