Umi Falafel in Dublin

Nice and polite people, the best falafel burger i've ever eaten in my entire life.

We had a wonderful dinner for a very small price.

No messing around, tasty, fresh and consistently delicious.

I already love umi but this went above and beyond! The Palestinian Falafel was so delicious it made my day! The staffs friendly atmosphere was the cherry on top! Absolutely can't wait to go again!

Umi Rathmines used to be one of my favourite places to eat. I've been coming here regularly for years, but it seems that recently, the standard has slipped noticeably. The orders are frequently wrong, particularly when ordering a bowl. The last couple of times I have been in, the tables have been dirty. I asked a staff member if he could please wipe down a table for me and he gestured for me to sit at the table next to it, which was also dirty, so I wiped it down myself using tissues and hand sanitiser. Recently I've noticed that the restaurant has a strong unpleasant smell of cooking oil when I enter. Finally, I find multiple (although not all) of the staff members to be quite rude to me on a consistent basis. So unfortunately, I probably won't be going very much anymore. Shaku Maku 2 doors down has similar menu options. More expensive but worth it for the difference in quality and atmosphere in my opinion.

Nice food but unfortunately items missed of my delivery and a VERY VERY small portion of salad (1/4 pot). I wouldn't normally post but delivery is a treat and its disappointing attention wasn't made to make sure the order was correct.

I'm always about meat. But man, if someone told me i had to become a vegetarian for life I really wouldn't mind having those Palestinian pockets every day :D. They are THAT good! Also, the Mozarella falafels. Yummy.
