Unfiltered coffee in Dublin

Amazing service from the entire staff! We came here as it was one of the top recommendations for specialty coffee, and it did not disappoint. Normally not a coffee person but the cappuccino was absolutely delicious. I will say, though, the pour over is probably one of the most expensive out of all the places we’ve been to, but I guess the level of attention to detail makes up for it. Furthermore, staff were extremely friendly and chatty; they gave us a ton of food recommendations for our trip to Dublin! Thank you for the wonderful service!

I stopped here for a coffee yesterday. Just ordered an Americano which was served with a glass of water. Really delicious coffee and the early morning atmosphere was so relaxing I could have stayed all morning. Will call again the next time I'm in Inchicore. Thanks guys.

Unfiltered Cafe is often regarded as one of the best coffee shops in the world, and it’s easy to see the passion and dedication behind what they do. The team is incredibly serious about coffee, and the coffee itself is quite different from what most of us are used to. It feels like the kind of place where you may need to acquire the taste and spend some time understanding their approach before fully appreciating it. We initially ordered a tonic water coffee, that wasnt to our taste so had to discard it and order a flat white, which was good, but definitely different from the flat whites you would typically get elsewhere. It had its own distinct character, and I think it’s something that grows on you as you become more familiar with their style of coffee. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. One thing I noticed was the detailed explanations given during a pour-over experience. To be clear, this wasn’t something I had purchased myself—I was simply observing another customer who had opted for it. While their enthusiasm and attention to detail were impressive, the level of explanation felt a bit overwhelming and intimidating at times from an observer’s perspective. The croissants were okay, nothing particularly memorable. Overall, I came away with mixed feelings. I can absolutely see why some people would love this place, while others may not connect with it at all. I find myself somewhere in the middle. That said, I still think it’s a must-visit. It’s a unique experience, and I wouldn’t want my personal preferences to influence anyone else’s opinion. Give it a try and decide for yourself—you might end up loving it, or it might not be your thing, but it’s certainly different from the usual coffee shop experience.

Had high expectations as an avid coffee enthusiast, however unfortunately I had nicer coffee in other places in Dublin for slightly cheaper too, the coffee was above average but little too expensive, would recommend for a visit though, 👍🏻

I visited Unfiltered Specialty Coffee, and I can honestly say it’s one of the coffee icons in Dublin. I tried the Cortado, Flat White, and a filter coffee, and every cup was outstanding. The filter coffee was a unique experience. Juljano, the owner, personally showed us the available coffees, explained each one in detail, and gave us an unforgettable coffee experience. His passion and deep knowledge of coffee made the visit even more special. It’s easy to see why this café is ranked among the World’s Top 100 Coffee Shops. It also won an award in February 2026 and was recently named the Best Flat White in Dublin. A big thank you to the whole team for the exceptional experience. I’ll definitely be back many times, and I highly recommend making this your first choice if you’re looking for amazing coffee in Dublin. Regards 🇴🇲

Had a great time. Great espresso, excellent flat white and above all lots of friendly coffee-nerdery conversation. Also, “we don’t accept tips, come back if you liked it” is not a phrase I expected to hear (I definitely will come back in lieu of a tip! 🙃)

Coffee was great! But the passion for clean coffee, expertise, and overall great service was amazing. A staff member took the time to answer various questions about the coffee water filtration system, etc.

Best flat white in Ireland for a reason!!!

Repeatedly cafe owners in Dublin referred to this as having the best coffee in the city. It certainly was excellent. Seating is very limited and it’s a busy location.
