UNioN Wine Bar & Kitchen in Waterford

Another amazing night at Union Wine Bar & Restaurant.Drinks,food and service were faultless.

Absolutely fabulous,only had pleasure of bar menu,it was stunning to say the least, wine list is 1st class, amazing classy vibe here, definitely highly recommend ♥️

This was our best dinner in Ireland on the trip! We were looking for another restaurant on Yelp and it turned out that they were no longer in existence. Union had taken their place. We walked in and it looked very nice and T was very nice in showing us the bar menu and the restaurant menu and letting us decide which area we wanted to eat in. We chose the restaurant and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I decided to have crab cakes for appetizer and then scallops appetizer as my main course. My boyfriend picked the tempera John Dory in chips and it was delicious. I stole some of his! We ended the night with S'more affogato and since S'mores are my favorite dessert. S'more Affogato was perfect! I love the jazzy music that they played in the background and it was quiet enough to be able to hear each other talk.

Never any problems with service, food, wine 🍷.

Stumped pleasantly upon this place when I was staying in Waterford with work. We ate in the bar area. A relaxing environment. I had 2 cocktails and 1 glass of wine along with.. 4 starters.. braised beef croquettes,, duck patê , wild mushrooms on brioche & a pork terrine. All equally tasty. The star of the show was the apple desert, very filthy 😋 💯 Return the next time I'm in Waterford.

My wife and I had dinner here last Friday night. We did not have a booking - and even though the restaurant was very busy, the staff very kindly gave us a table. The food is delicious, very flavoursome - high quality ingredients. Excellent execution and presentation by the chefs. To be honest, the portion size was larger than expected - which made the cost/value even better. My only negative would be that they should be noting all aspects of the dish on the menu - by that I mean - for the "snacks" (served before the starter) they had salt cod croquettes - that's all it said - so I ordered one - when it arrived to the table it was sitting on a bed of mayonnaise, with a drop of mayonnaise on top as well, topped with a sprig of parsley - however, that meant then that I could not eat it - as I can't eat mayonnaise. However, I would still highly recommend this restaurant - certainly worth a visit.

Very, very good food.Lovely venue. Cocktails are great. Returned last night and It was very good if not better. Pork Dish was delicious, and wine recommendations spot on.

I arrived to town with my husband for a friends wedding late in the evening and we needed to find somewhere to have dinner. We stopped in to this restaurant and were absolutely blown away. Every morsel of food we ate was spectacular, fresh, and thoughtfully curated. All of the ingredients on the plates were complimentary and built upon each other to elevate the flavors. My husband (who thinks himself quite a foodie) is still talking about this meal days later and we wish we could visit again! It’s a definite must-visit restaurant, you will not be disappointed!!!
