UNioN Wine Bar & Kitchen in Waterford

Absolutely fantastic food and fantastic service. This is definitely the best restaurant in Waterford. The food was 200% perfect . I actually cannot recommend UNioN enough. I will be going back for sure. Thank you for such a sublime meal and evening.

went here and I was very I impressed by the place. Very city, very cute. Service from a very sweet girl, Tea was her name. Worth a visit to have a drink even.

I got taken in by the facade thinking this was more of a pub but it’s higher end than that. I shoulda moved on. The restaurant was almost empty when we walked in - maybe 3 tables. Despite that we were asked if we had a reservation- at 14:00 in an empty restaurant! Then they would only seat us in the bar because those 15-20 empty tables were for reservations. The hostess couldn’t really speak intelligible English, and, no, she didn’t have an Irish accent. The menu is just lines on a sheet of paper and pretty limited too. And 4 pieces of focaccia with a dip is 17 euros! The food was good, I’ll give them that. Service was average. Two mains, two beers and one appetizer was 65+ euros! Pretty pricey. Overall I cannot recommend them.

Had a wonderful evening with my brother! The restaurant was decorated fabulous, the vibe was great, the staff were very knowledgable, all these things made a very enjoyable evening. The food was fantastic!! We shared the amazing feta dip with focaccia, after I had the scallops, followed by the strip lion steak with the gorgeous wine pairing, it was incredible. Really recommend to persons wanting a real treat for themselves if visiting Waterford! I look forward to coming back!

Best chips I’ve had in all of Ireland. Best meal we had in our 2 weeks here. Monkfish tempura goujons were superb as were the gambas. Cannot rave enough about their food with great atmosphere and excellent location.
