The coffee had an off-putting taste, which reminded me of something unpleasant – almost like a hint of sewerage. This really affected the overall experience for me. The café’s ambiance also left a lot to be desired. The tables, which I believe were supposed to be white, appeared brown, giving the space a somewhat neglected feel. Additionally, I was surprised to find that brown sugar wasn’t available, and the café didn’t offer many vegan-friendly options, which could be a drawback for those with dietary preferences. On the service side, the person behind the counter wasn’t particularly welcoming. Professionalism and courtesy are key to a positive experience, so this was disappointing. To add to the unusualness of the visit, there were two cats wandering around the café, which may not be ideal for everyone. I hope the café can address these issues and improve the experience for future customers.

Pancakes are good Would Recommend

First time i went was good, yummy food and lovely staff!! But the second time wasnt good at all, even though the food was good again, the rude behaviour from staff just made one want to leave right away :(

Had to leave a positive review and to make sure people don't read into all the negative ones. We've been going here for over 4 years and yes it can be busy but the staff are fabulous. A mix up was made with part of our order but they couldn't have been more kind, refunded that part of the order and sorted a free coffee also. They work hard here, food is lovely and price wise, show me somewhere that hasn't been affected by the rising cost of fuel and ingredients. I will always recommend urban kitchen :)
