Vanilla Pod Dun Laoghaire in Dublin

I went to eat. The staff were incredibly professional as soon as I told them I was celiac. They went to the kitchen to ask about some concerns I had. A staff member even came to make sure I chose a dish with the slightest possibility of gluten traces. They told me that in addition to the dishes marked as gluten-free, they could adapt some others for me. They don't have a separate fryer. I ordered a salad with a ton of ingredients, all delicious. Baked sweet potato, chicken, sprouts, caramelized walnuts that were amazing, feta cheese, pomegranate, broccoli, a "mint" sauce that didn't actually taste like mint at all, spices, and some quinoa. I wasn't hungry at all; it was one of my favorite dishes during my stay in Dublin. I would definitely go back. I didn't have any symptoms.

We have had a delicious breakfast here twice now. Very friendly staff. Lots of choice, tasty fresh items. Highly recommended.

Hidden away opposite the Marine Hotel, the Vanilla Pod always delivers delicious foodie a cosy atmosphere. No bookings so sometimes there is a wait. I love their poached eggs on avo toast. Good coffee. And they have soya milk!

It’s now have mandatory tip when paying with card with option starting from 5% or other. Leaving me an awkward moment like I have to pay 5% tip. The food is good though ~ The staff is welcoming indeed, but I’m not in US

Service was excellent. Staff paid good attention and were helpful while making you feel welcome. Food was good quality and tasty. My child even liked the soup. Will try to return, though was so busy in the small space leading to a wait for table.

Plenty of gluten free options, which is always great to see as a celiac! Caoimhe and Sean took care of us and they provided excellent service. 11/10 spot, will definitely be back and would recommend to a friend.

We discovered this place having checked out of the nearby hotel. It was pleasantly surprising. I had the vegetarian breakfast. The portions were filling, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was genial.

Ambiance, and Service were fantastic. Also the chai latte was one of the best I’ve ever had. My daughter’s pancakes were also good. I have to say I was sorely disappointed with the poached eggs and toast though. Very pricy for such a simple dish which would have been fine if it had been tasty but the toast was stale and the poached eggs had too much vinegar added to the water and came unsalted 🙈. Would come back but would stick to the baked good, pancakes and drinks!

Visited today Good Friday, for lunch with 2 kids and 3 adults. Little wait for table but Cara the wonderful host greeted us so kindly, and checked in on table situation multiple times to assure us on wait times. She was so on the ball, wonderful service and greeted everyone with a smile even though it was busy & lots going on. The Food was delicious large portions and great quality, kids and adults enjoyed. On departure kids ordered ice cream to go and Cara again stepped up bringing them ice cream pots topped with sprinkles sauce and as a special treat mini eggs - kids were elevated. Really love when a staff member shines just like she did. Will be back and definitely recommend 👏
