Venice Restaurant, menu in Galway

Had. Beautiful meal here last night. Upon arrival there was a queue out the door. Luckily we had a reservation. Restaurant is decorated lovely inside and the staff are all extremely helpful and friendly without being over bearing. 4 adults three course meal everything was fantastic my personal favourite is the Arancine de cassa on the starters menu. One ofbour party ordered the calzone for main and while a little burnt on the bottom was quite happy to continue to eat it but the restaurant manager spotted it and immediately ordered him a new one without any prompting I thought this was a lovely touch! Desserts were fantastic definitely my new favourite Italian restaurant in Galway.

We stopped in on a Saturday night and the very kind and welcoming manager was able to get us a table outside without a reservation. We had the olives starter and pizza and it was all delicious. Service was excellent too. 😁

Excellent food, hospitality, and atmosphere

This is my second time in this restaurant and I have to say it’s absolutely amazing!! The food is spectacular and the service is one of the best I’ve experienced in Ireland. Atmosphere is cozy and romantic. I can’t wait to be back!!!

I had an amazing La putanesca and my friend a bolognese. It was delicious.

It is worth pre booking, well worth a visit. Lovely staff, great food. We have been here a few times now, always excellent

Super sweet Italian, waiter super nice and attentive, food was incredibly tasty, small backyard is quiet and secluded, you really have peace and quiet right in the city center ☺️ Top top top - the only improvement would be cushions on the chairs or something similar.

If all pasta tasted as good as it does at Venice, it would be the only thing I ever eat. This place is magnificent and a must visit in Galway.

Atmosphere: Authentic Italian dining. There is a small waiting area up front which is nice because it keeps people from loitering around the tables. Italian music played in the background. Warm and cozy on a cold day. Staff: Very attentive and friendly. Checked on us regularly. Cesar Salad: Heavy on the dressing. Made all the lettuce and croutons very soggy. Beware, the anchovy taste is VERY strong if you’re not a fan. Cannelloni di Carne: Lots of sauce. Good flavor. Came with a side a fries which I’ve never seen before. Flavor was good. Ravioli con Scampi: The raviolis were actually tortellinis. It had a good amount of shrimp. The flavor was good, just wasn’t amazing. Still a solid choice.
